Fred is one of the worst players I have ever seen wear the badge. Did he make any forward passes today?

I feel for Ole a little bit. We've got a lot of injuries and had no luck outside of the Chelsea game. If Pogba scores that pen, If Maguire scored that sitter today we could be in the top 4 despite how shit we are.

But make no mistake, at this rate finishing inside the top 10 will be a minor miracle.

We're playing counter attack football but  doesn't work when the other team is sitting back doing the same. We just end up passing it about until we lose it.

Don't want to be a fair weather fan but I'm finding it hard to watch.

Here in peace... fully expecting a reaction from your lot today. You simply cannot be as turgid as you’ve been recently against Liverpool today, history underlines that. One league win in 10 for us against you, we’re due perhaps but you have almost always had a hex over us when we’re in a better position, ever since denying a treble with an FA Cup win back in 1977.

It might only be a delaying of Solskjaer’s impending exit but imagine you’ll spoil things for the opening period and exert pressure thereafter. Romero (if he plays) has six clean sheets in seven Premier League starts. You’re still Man United, you still very rarely lose at home to Liverpool.

Can’t even bring myself to watch this today. Can’t put myself through it. Anyone else feel the same?

Same here. I think it might be a comfortable day for Liverpool.

If we were creating chances, I’d give us an outside chance, but we’ve been nothing short of abject in that department (as well as many others).

I doubt Ole has much more time either unless results turnaround. Ed is clearly doing his level best to brief the media about our ‘transfer approach’ recently to try and put himself in a positive light, since the fans and some sections of the media are training their sights on him now.

Probably being greeted by Mike Ashley at Newcastle with “The most unpopular man in football meets the second most unpopular man in football” might not have helped. Still trying to work out whose who in that scenario.

But today, obviously hoping for a positive result.

We will probably have a midfield three of Mctominay, Fred and Pereira. An out of form Rashford along with an out of form Lingard plus Dan James up front, unless Martial is back from injury but then he's not going to be match fit. No idea if either of our full backs are back so Ashley Young will probably also start. Plus no De Gea.

Add that to our recent terrible form and playing against Liverpool who have won all of their League games so far and I think that makes a 1-0 United win.

Either that or a 6-1 loss.

James against Alexander-Arnold, who is prone to the odd defensive lapse, is a key match-up. Getting some ground early will enliven the crowd. And if we start slow, we have a bad habit of retreating at Old Trafford.

Obviously wishing you lot no luck whatsoever, but hoping for a decent contest* after some drab match-ups in recent years...

*a comfortable away win ;)

You’re still Man United,

Only in name.

I can’t see anything other than a heavy defeat today and there’s no way I’m watching it. In fact I won’t be watching us again until they start putting the football before the business. They don’t deserve my support with the way they’ve shown nothing but total disregard for us fans.

I'm not sure there was any contact, on further views of the decision. If there was, it was absolutely minimal, and Origi paid the price for diving under such minimal

 really? The replays show 100% he kicks him in the shin.
