Very frustrating result. We were by so far the better team, they just scored a great goal during the brief period at the start of the second half when they were in the game. We just didn't quite create the clear-cut chances you'd expect to when you dominate a game like that. 

 

Still, to be honest, the performance was great away from home against a highly-rated Wolves side.

We didn’t implode. Truth be told, apart from Neves’ strike and a 15-20 minute purple patch for Wolves, I thought we were relatively comfortable. Granted, neither keeper had many saves to make, but we didn’t look like conceding either.

 

I’m enjoying the football we’re playing at the moment. More of that please.

Exactly, and it's not as if it was a poor penalty. He struck it well, it was a very good save.

It wasn't a poor penalty but it wasn't a good one either, and considering we have a player who regularly places the ball so well his penalties are un-saveable, and he was on the pitch, it is worth a bit of 'fuss' working out why that can be allowed to happen.

I was a fan of VAR until I realized that the same shitty people being refs are the same shitty people in charge of var. We should have gotten a pen but var stayed silent.

its not just that, martial was clearly through on goal, Cahil should be off, he was last man. Thats an error. Martial brought down, pen .James booked after being clipped, wrong decision, should be overturned.

 

If its not doing it, what's the fucking point in it.

Oh, and then the fucking ref lets the palace player take the "long way" off the pitch as a sub! he should be telling him to get off the pitch!
