Chelsea are 2-0 up, so to scrape 4th, we'd need Spurs to lose their last game, AND Arsenal to lose one of their remaining games. Plus we'd need to hang on to this win and beat Cardiff, and teams always win the week after they're relegated.

This group of players must have been counting down to the moment they could humiliate the club one last time against Huddersfield.

 

Ole’s fault for giving them the opportunity. He may as well play them next week too and the OT crowd should chant ‘shame’ for 90 minutes.

i do like the look of chong and dalot on that right hand side though!

 

Need to rebuild, not buy, build. with youth. In a proper way, and we badley need a new chairman to control football spending, and leave woodward to commercial side.

Genuinely execrable viewing. No idea where the club goes from here. I think I would be happier watching lesser-tier players playing with a clear plan, and with some confidence and desire, than watching this expensively constructed but ultimately directionless group. Even if the end result were the same, if that makes sense. But I worry that the people running the club are so incompetent that any fix they attempt might just make things worse.

 

Amazing that we scored in the 8th minute against a team rooted to the bottom of the table, relegated weeks ago, and yet their confidence grew and grew while ours diminished.

There is something poisonous at the club, but what is it? It has to be the players, but why are they so disillusioned? I simply can’t get my head around them knowing that 4th place spot was still up for grabs, no matter how unlikely, yet having no ambition to go for it.

 

All we can hope is that the club know who the problems are and are going to remove them as soon as the season ends.

 

They should drop the lot and play the reserves for the last game of the season.

 

I hope one day we get to find out just what the fuck is going on.

Never mind lads. It's not as if City are going to win the league and Liverpool have just played one of the greatest European matches of all time and will probably win the UCL
