Hearing McManaman criticise the linesman for not putting his flag up when Rashford was through and having to be told by his co-commentator how VAR works. Fucking hell, seriously? Guy plays, watches, listens, breathes football and can't keep up with the rules. Fuck off, Steve.

Well said. I'm listening to Five Live with the TV volume turned down, simply because I can't listen to those two idiot commentators on crappy BT Sport.

He likes to really big up PSG as well. The ten minute spell they had after the goal was painful to listen to. He was gushing over them and saying how they were tearing us apart. He hasn’t been praising us anywhere near the same.

 

Who’s 2-1 up eh, Steve? Eh?

Yeah, a lot less passive than the home leg. Although the shape we began with defensively really wasn't great, that seems to have been sorted now. I think if we want to play Bailly in a three, it would make most sense for him to be the central stopper. Him and Young were just completely unable to hand players off to one another and ensure the space was being covered.

As much as we're doing better than I expected, it's a bit frustrating as we're getting into good areas, but then choosing the wrong option or not executing the final ball correctly. PSG have made some puzzling decisions on the ball too though.

 

We're committing ourselves further forward, and PSG are finding space. Will need to throw caution to the wind at some point. Guess Chong coming on is what that looks like!
