yeah we swapped the players, i never understood why we singed Mkhitaryan, he wasnt an upgrade to lingard, he was worse, but jose gotta jose!

kind of like fred, dosent seem like an upgrade to andreas!

BUT, still a whole second half to  go, and lets be honest, spurs are pretty good!

Every time United score Solksjaer, Carrick and Phelan all jump up with their arms in the air and along with the other assistants all hug each other in celebration. It's awesome to see and I'm not going to get bored of the tv cameras showing it. They all appear equally engaged in the tactical approach, and of equal status.

Surely this Man Utd team is better than Spurs on a per player basis? They just have a slightly more reasonable manager than they used to.

Oops sorry thought this was the general thread.

Jesus. Spurs will be fucking gutted at that. Heart in mouth stuff.

I think this showed that, as much as Solskjaer has improved us, there is still a gulf in class between us and the teams chasing the title. We didn't really have an answer to Spurs' play in the second half (aside from having the GOAT between the sticks) and could barely keep the ball. Was the right decision to sit deep and see out the win, given that, but a shame we couldn't offer more on the counter. Spurs could just commit more and more players in attack, to apparently little risk.

What a result though. IIRC Leicester were in touching distance of us when Mourinho took over - now we have 10 points between us and 7th, and only goal difference keeping us from 5th. What a turnaround. This is the game where, by rights, we should've all come down to earth and reality would start to set in. But nope, long may Ole's wild ride continue.

what woud be said, is the second half last 20 mins, looked a bit laggy. And lukaku came on and did ...nothing, he was just static, ole needs to have a word there!

He really has found a team that works, prob the team we would have said should he playing at the start of the season!
