What's your guys honest feelings on Paul Pogba? To me he seems like he is a petulant, self centred, poisonous player, one that does more harm than good in a team.

I think he probably has a massive ego and thinks highly of himself, but I think the rest is a bit much. He's no Balotelli.

He obviously didn't get on with Mourinho and didn't help himself with some of what he said publically. The worst thing about him is probably his agent who could easily be described as petulant and self centered.

Did he have issues at Juventus or with France? Genuine question, I have no idea.

I don’t like him because of the way he conducted himself over the Mourinho nonsense. How much of that is down to the media singling him out is hard to tell though.

He definitely seems a lot happier now, so it could all be down to him being a bit immature. Hopefully he’s learned from it and can put it all behind him.

Lively so far.

I think you're being a bit harsh on Jones. On the Rondon chance, it was clearly offside, as replays showed the Newcastle player getting a tackle in and poking the ball through to Rondon. That recovery tackle was excellent. He has shown his usual lack of awareness in defence, but I think his header that lead to an Atsu chance was worse than the Rondon one.

Edit - why does autocorrect sometimes change one correctly spelt word for another one? It just changed than to that for no reason.

Yeah if he had given Lascelles an early yellow, as he should have, he would've been walking on ice for the rest of the game. Then he gives Lindelof a card for a handball he couldn't possibly have avoided. Been a pretty awful performance from Marriner.

He's a petulant mercenary. But then again, most footballers are.

He's also one of the best midfielders in the Premier league (when he wants to be)

Better decision making from Pogba and Lukaku at the end there, and we'd have won that by four. Might have been overly flattering though. Think this game serves as a bit of a warning. We have restricted Newcastle to few chances, mostly be keeping them occupied the other way, but we've otherwise been saved more by their lack of quality than any brilliant defending. Lindelof and Shaw have been tidy, but Jones offered up a number of concerning moments. Seems like he knew he wasn't having a good game, as he blootered it away a couple of times rather than risk trying to keep posession and make a mistake.

Four wins on the trot, and a clean sheet. Newcastle are a decent side, difficult to break down. The ref was poor, and definitely influenced by the home fans with his distribution of cards. Shelvey should have got a straight red, and Lacelles could have been sent off too. It's a very good result.

If Ole continues like this (and I don't just mean winning every game) he's surely going to get the job full time.

Of course, if Atsu wasn't shit we'd have been in trouble.

I think you have to see how he does in a few tough games first, the games you've won have been against teams you should be beating.

Im sure the change from Mourinho's dark cloud to attaking football and smiles on faces is massive but if you find that he cant beat the top 6 teams or find a way to change things up when needed then you're looking at struggling to get into the top 4 and thats surely not enough for Man U.

I do hope he does it and gets the job.
