Do you have an excuse for how we beat Liverpool a few weeks beforehand too?

Not at all, you did well, got knock ons against Lovren and exposed Arnold’s inexperience. But Man City are a far better team... did you not see the points gap in the league last season?!

We look alright when the front three get involved, but we're not getting it to them enough, and when we do we're not supporting them, so they're having to do everything on their own.

Well we do have a midfield 3 of Fellaini, Matic and Herrera. Not the most mobile!

No, so you have to assume it's a deliberate tactic to hope Rashford, Martial, and Lingard can make something happen on their own.  We could really do with Pogba joining in from midfield.  The full-backs are getting forward, but it's not enough to break down the City defence.

Matic is excellent though.  He's not the quickest, and sharp players might play round him at times, but he sees danger very early, and remains calm.  He makes a lot of important defensive interceptions.  Him and Fellaini in the same midfield limits our effectiveness on the ball, and I'd like to see Mata come on for Fellaini, but that's not likely to happen.  Mourinho will still see Fellaini as one of our most likely routes to an equaliser.

We’re just total shit these days. No excuses. Individually, some of our players are really talented, but they don’t work well as a team, the manager is a petulant baby and his tactics are outdated, the people in charge of recruitment aren’t arsed about the club or the kind of football we play as long as it’s generating profit as a business. It’s a mess to the core and it’s mental to think they’ve let it slip to this while watching City practically build a football devoted village on the other side of the city. I hope things begin to get put right and removing Mourinho is the start.

It’s so depressing being a United supporter at the moment. I really struggle to find any positives.

Hate to say I told you so. Nah, I love it really.

Mourinho is the cancer of football.

It's been mentioned by everyone by now in the media so..everyone already is aware of it..but perhaps they could let Mourinho know that if you have conceded more goals than you have scored it kind of means you're not succeeding in being defence first, attack second. Because if you look at Man City, they've scored 36, let in 5. If you keep the ball it means the other team doesn't have it, and the less they have it the less chances they can make. Usually. If a journalist could be allowed to patronize Mourinho this way, and phrase it the same. As Jonathan Wilson said last season, the pragmatic thing to do wouldn't be try not to concede then score if possible, it's instead go for it. When you're up against this Man City (over a season not a single game) you have to.

Negative goal difference. It's embarrassing. That's a stat for a team struggling near the bottom of the table. Man City on 31 !
