The old Man Utd Thread

Gotta admit I love that and his crazy pirate face ear cupping at the end of the game. He's a dick, but he's ours and it's miles better than depressed Mourinho.

Slagged off all season yet tonight is a brilliant result. His two tactical changes won the game and had Rashford took his clear cut chance it'd have been a 3-1 win. Have it.

Man City will beat Utd quite handily, they are in such good form. I'd love to be wrong though.

Didn't pretty much everyone think that when we played them away last season? I don't think many expected us to go and beat Juventus in Italy either. Of course there is every chance we will play as terribly as we often do and get completely trashed, but I don't think it's quite as simple as seeing how City have played recently and giving them a win.

It's very much needed for the good of the league that we win the derby. I know Chelsea and Liverpool are much better this season but hopes that City aren't as motivated this year have been quashed. Guardiola knows that if he stays another couple of years that 2-3 consecutive titles will be considered a huge success even if he doesn't bring glory in Europe.

I think it'll be a close-ish game but we aren't shutting them out and snatching 0-1. For that reason, i say City 2-1.

You don’t think the fact they didn’t start De Bruyne, Walker, Aguero or Jesus had anything to do with that? Okay!

Do you have an excuse for how we beat Liverpool a few weeks beforehand too?
