The old Man Utd Thread

If he has a problem with the direction he's being given, there are better ways to air that. We don't know what's been said privately but we do know what's been said publicly, and I think the way Pogba has repeatedly undermined his manager is quite unprofessional - and I say this despite thinking he might well have a point. As much as I feel Jose is right to take a stand here and that the club should back him, I feel like he's not in a strong enough position to do that. I don't think many managers are these days. We're a bit of a basket case club these days and I don't think players saying whatever they like to the press, with no consequence, would just make that worse.

I don’t particularly like Pogba. I find him far too ego driven, lazy and entitled. He’s obviously massively talented, but he needs that talent nurturing and he needs to stop thinking he’s untouchable and show a bit of humility. I don’t think he should be airing his grievances in public and he definitely needs reprimanding for that, but I’d much rather him be at the club than Mourinho. Who, for me, offers nothing but negativity. He’ll never get the best out of Pogba and he’s dragging the rest of the players down. He’s dragging the fans down. The media are laughing at his pathetic ways. His tactics feel stale and obvious. He just isn’t the right person for the job. The sooner he’s gone, the better.

And now Derby have equalised. Says everything about what United have become.

The game changed at half time, after which we've sat back, let them have the ball and invited pressure. Why would we do that? We're not interested is having possession, never mind showing attacking intent. The usual stupid plan of sitting back in order to get a late second on the break. That shit absolutely comes from the manager.
