We've done well to get ourselves back to 1-1.  Lovely goal from Sanchez.

 

It's a weird situation. Spurs definitely have a bit of an unfair advantage with the semi final being played where they play their home games. It should have been played at a neutral venue.

It's also nice to see Sanchez starting to look more settled and the team finding it's balance with him in the squad. I guess it just took him a while to adapt playing for a big team again.

I'm not sure we necessarily want Xhaka off. He's been so bad he's helping us out.

 

Strange atmosphere to the game. The defence don't seem to be awake at all. We're doing okay further up the pitch, with Sanchez and Pogba playing well and showing some drive, but a lot of players seem to be playing within themselves, a bit aimlessly, and with no intensity. Arsenal could so easily be level.

 

Edit - Blimey, I reckon Henry and Souness might agree with me over Xhaka. He's received a spectacular hammering from them.

We've deserved that. Matic and Herrera have been pretty poor, and that was awful from the pair of them.

Martial has changed things a bit since coming on. It's been an irritating performance from the team in general though. They went easy on a very weak Arsenal team in the first half and now can't get going again.
