Such an unexpected performance and win, for me. Loved it. Hopefully the Palace win and today will carry us forward with confidence in the CL.

Also have to give props to Lukaku today, he really did well winning headers and general hold-up play.

I reckon Young will have one of his best defensive games for you lot and keep Salah quiet today. It's whether you can snuff out all three that's the key for you.

Told ya!

I thought we were excellent all over the pitch, particularly our defense; McTominay put in a mature performance. Young was good. Bailly solid and even chipped in with a goal too.

Hadn’t realised that 12 points exists between 2nd and 5th. Thought it was closer than that for Champions League places.

He's in very good form at the moment. A goal and an assist against Chelsea, a crucial goal against Palace as well as a really passionate, committed performance (have you seen the videos of his reaction to Matic's winner?), and heavily involved in both goals today. He's also slowly becoming a leader in the team. His self-belief has been improving, and he's starting to consider himself Mourinho's "sergeant" on the pitch.

Strange that Klopp is picking out the Fellaini on Mane challenge as a penalty. That's the one of the three penalty shouts that is the least a penalty. The ball was back-heeled, Fellaini moved towards the loose ball, trying to get there ahead of Mane, and Mane ran into him.

That's one of the worst things I've ever seen.

I have enjoyed reading stuff from Liverpool fans going on about how yesterdays result doesn't really matter as they will be in the Champions League next season anyway which to be fair, is quite true. However, we all know that if they had won yesterday it would have been a huge result in a huge match and they would be singing about how this confirms that they really are the second best team in the country.
