The old Man Utd Thread

Really glad Smalling took that ahead of Pogba.  :D

Watch the way various players have reacted to the second Palace goal.  Pogba and Lukaku are arguing with each other, Sanchez has got even more frantic.  Meanwhile Lingard has upped his effort levels, is running harder and getting involved making intelligent, forward-looking interventions.  The rest of this lot could learn a lot from him.

Rashford in making an immediate impact shocker

Expensive new signing in not being bought with any idea how he fits in and subsequently adds nothing and actively harms the balance shocker

sorry sorry sorry sorry ban me not watching the game how is it going

Jamie Carragher has just said that Alexis Sanchez lost the ball 19 times in that first half. He was poor, but surely that can’t be true. That’s once every two minutes, twenty five seconds.

Shaw looks alarmingly fat, by the way.  It's got to the stage where he can't even hold it in anymore.

I was thinking that, why the fuck does he look so tubby? Imagine how much you’d have to eat/drink to be a fat professional footballer.

We didn't really deserve it, but what a way to win it.  A classic Man U comeback, although to be fair we normally scramble those late goals in.  I can't remember a last-minute winner like that ever.  When that goal went in I sort of screeched "oh my god!" and very nearly died falling off my chair backwards.  It's how I'd want to go.

My heart!

Jesus. The most desire and character I’ve seen us play with in a long time. Shame it took us losing by 2 to happen.

What a beauty from Matic! 1st Utd goal, 91st minute, amazing volley to win us an epic comeback. What a story.

commentator just said a smash and grab...its not a smash and grab if the team is constantly trying and attacking!?

Hmm. Palace were by far the best team in the first half. I would say they can feel unlucky. Being beaten by a goal like that at the end - got to be absolutely gutting.

Why can't we start games positively? Why do we need to be staring the prospect of an embarrassing, timid defeat in the face before we try and do something about it? We're so lucky to still be second, there is no way we've been the second best side in the country this season.
