...do we not get to see the var !?

Edit:..wtaf was that!? the line was wonky as all fuck, the line on thee pitch was running a different way!

EDIT2: that was a joke! BT just showed up the VAR, and it was onside!

That's extremely dodgy. If the VAR technology isn't working, how can they make the decision to disallow the goal? We'd have to see it again, because it looked level just as the ball was played. If he's offside fair enough.

On the VAR they've shown, the line isn't straight, and more importantly didn't line up with the lines on the pitch.

And BT have just put their own, correct lines in and he's level. FFS.

nope that was what they showed, they then said they actually had straight lines, showed a second of it, and it still didnt look straight compared to BT's first line which showed it was inline, and should be onside!

it also calls into question the use, as the linesman really made the right call, there wasnt confusion or mistakes.

My guess is that we will be mainly focused on stopping Sevilla from scoring, and only really trying to threaten on the break. Huddersfield game may have been a preview of what's to come in that sense, there's only two outfield changes it looks like (Shaw -> Valencia and Carrick -> Herrera). Basically for any neutrals reading this I would probably suggest you find alternative entertainment for your evening.

Herrera seemed to immediately know exactly what had happened, perhaps a recurring problem. oo-err.

oof. bad miss from Lukaku, leaning way back. Seems like we're growing into the game though. Getting Pogba and McTominay both on seems to have forced a more attacking approach.

I don't fancy our chances unless we pick up our game quite a bit. We look a bit nervy, and keep giving the ball away. Defensively we're scrambling and fire-fighting quite well when required, but we're not in control back there, and their left winger has got us on the rack. In the last few minutes of the half they tore us apart, and it's only thanks to the best goalkeeper in the world that we're level.

I hope I'm not tempting fate, but the ref has done very well so far. The partisan crowd and the diving Seville players are making it tough for him, demanding yellow cards every time a white-shirted player hits the deck. An equally partisan feltmonkey has been shouting for a Seville player to be booked for diving and another one to be sent off for what I interpreted as an elbow off the ball on Sanchez. He's been quite sensible, although he did book Sanchez for nothing when he fell for one of those dives.

If we can get out of here with a draw it would be a fantastic result.

What exactly is Mourinho’s problem? He’s assembling a team with some amazing attacking ability, yet he refuses to use it. 2 shots all half, with only 1 on target is fucking ridiculous.

After the start we had to the season, which showed how free-flowing football works and is entertaining for the fans, why has he reverted to type? It’s frustrating as fuck, and has undoubtedly cost us a lot of points this season.
