Am I the only one that finds Pogba infuriating to watch 90% of the time? Like just actually focus on him for 5 mins. He’s a lazy sod.

I hope you are because that's a ridiculous thing to say. He's gets about the pitch just fine but withe the added bonus of being a magician with the ball at his feet. Can't find any average distance but I bet he averages 10km a match easily.

Sanchez is being signed for the right. Its the one major attacking position we need world class in right now, given Lingard's form and Mata being solid as an AMC. No doubt Martial/Rashford and Sanchez will switch throughout the match.

He's not played much on the right in recent times,  but I agree the right side is where the team can improve for sure.

 i’d had some wine, ignore my massive exageration. He just annoyed me (defensively) those 5 mins.

I fully appreciate his majestic ways going forward.

Will he really want to be played down the right side in this squad? Suppose he has Valencia bombing past him all game, that is providing we attack.

I sincerely hope that his performances this season for Arsenal were just his frustration at not getting away in the summer. Whenever I've seen him play, he gave the ball away SO much.

I don't think it worked particularly well for him at Barca either... obviously his stats weren't terrible because in that team, if you're not scoring 15-20 as first choice in that front 3 then something is wrong.

Time will tell on this I guess...Like I said before, Mourinho is off after next season whatever happens.

FWIW Alexis looked pretty terrible whenever we tried him on the right.

You mean United are buying a high-profile expensive player without first considering how they will actually use them?  Surely not!  That's never happened before!

I doubt he'll play as a striker. He might take Lingard's central role behind the striker.

My best bet is still to play in the right though, a positions he's played throughout his career. Wenger himself has said its his best position in the past, although played him centrally and wide left. But then Wenger got to Wenger I guess.

Frustrating to hear the commentators say Pogba's "overplaying" when he's actually been fouled. It seems to be the general rule in the Premier League that if you dally on the ball, it's okay for someone to come in and clatter you. I seriously think some refs take a dim view of anyone who tries to hold onto the ball and dribble, rather than acting scared of it and getting rid at the first opportunity.

But yeah if we had someone else that they needed to pay attention to then it wouldn't be such an issue. Maybe bringing on Herrera and letting Pogba roam more would be a solution?

Yep - soon to be 12 points again unless something very strange happens though.

I know Burnley have been very good this season, but I think we still made hard work of that. Particularly towards the end of the game, there was just so much space on the break for us, some better decision making (particularly from Rashford who is in a dreadful patch of form and trying far too hard) and it could've been a pasting. Also thought it was weird to drop Shaw - Young does not really support the winger in front of him, but instead offers another added threat himself. I'd really rather see Martial and Shaw continue to learn each other's game.

Also think the view of Burnley as some honest hard-working types needs to end; saw a lot of good play from them today but also plenty of "gamesmanship". They're basically divey ref-baiting cunts, so... just like everyone else I suppose?
