line up for later, shaw gets a start at last! lets hope he looks good and  we keep him, as apparently jose is thinking of selling him...and buying danny rose...you just know spurs would get shaw, and in a year he would look brilliant again!

"A defending player who leaves the field of play without the referee’s permission shall be considered to be on the goal line or touchline for the purposes of offside until the next stoppage in play or until the defending team has played the ball towards the halfway line and it is outside their penalty area. If the player left the field of play deliberately, the player must be cautioned when the ball is next out of play."

Onside.

genuinely, how can a player who is off the pitch, play somebody on side? and this isnt the first time ive thought this?

but cska didn't deserve that at all!

UEFA have said the player with original shot scored the goal, apparently the ball never hit the other player on the back. It never happened. Weird.

i think shaw had a good game there. considering he hasnt played for a while. Young is prob 1st choice LB(who woulda thought that!?) but he HAS to be 2nd, choice, and aa ferw games would get him back to match fitness!

Wow, quite the attacking line-up. That's not a million miles away from 4-2-4!

I guess Jose is looking to expose a weakness to pace in the City back four. Matic and Herrera will have to play well, as will the defence.

The BBC website has for some reason published a tweet from some random scrotum saying something along the lines of, "three defenders on the bench - typical negative Mourinho." Some people just can't let go of their accepted narrative.
