I only started watching from 20 minutes in, but that has been a shocking first half all round really. Liverpool are bullying us at home.

Poor half from us. Liverpool like flies over shit soon as we get the ball, not helped by taking one touch too many either.

 

Miki and Pogba should've scored early on. Need a reaction in the second half.

Uh, I thought we had the better of the first half? Liverpool are always going to be, uh, "aggressive" shall we say but I think we've coped well. Created a whole bunch of clear cut chances, but for Mignolet having a great game we'd be ahead. Game has turned on a moment of madness unfortunately.

We're playing the occasion rather than the opposition, and doing a really bad job of it. It's been a very nervous performance, hence the panic in defence and the ineffectiveness in front of goal. Liverpool haven't done anything - they haven't put together a clever move, or a bit of individual skill, but they still deserve their lead for how they've pressed and made us make silly mistakes.
