We did it! We actually bloody did it. What a turnaround, when I posted this we'd just beat Spurs but were coming off the draws with Everton and West Ham and looking completely average. The list above represents teams we should beat with ease but just haven't been doing so for years. What a run we're on now.

And you know what? After Liverpool we've another run of 8 totally winnable games! Dare I make another list...

It was like watching the United of old against Hull in terms of temperament. We didn't play particularly well, but they had the belief that they'll win because United. We didn't get out of second truth be told, Miki should've had a couple in the first half. I suspect one eye was on the weekend against Liverpool where it'll be a much tougher game.

Pogba really has grown into the season as it's gone on. He's hit the woodwork seven times this season apparently. Sooner or later they'll be going in and as I said to my mate, sooner or later, someone is going to get a real tonking off of us. Hope it's against Liverpool on Sunday. :D

Given that Carrick is old, we've sold Schneiderlin, and Schweinsteiger is nowhere near the first team, that makes sense. I don't see us having the quality and depth we need in midfield for a few transfer windows yet. Interesting timing though, maybe this has been planned for a while, but Mourinho was concerned about the boo boys' affect on his confidence and held off.

Fellaini was getting cheered and songs sang after he scored the other night. There's definitely a lot of backing of him, especially from the manager if his contract extension is true (and his sprinting to Jose and hugging him might imply that), but I just don't get it. At all. Ever.

Apart from the Everton game where he gave away a silly penalty he's not been that bad. Granted, thats not what we should be aiming for but it doesn't mean he won't be sold further down the line either should we get better players in.

What we need to do is find someone who can replace Carrick, because we sure don't look as good when he's not playing. I think Schweinsteiger could do something similar to what Carrick is doing for us but he still seems to be on the fringes so this summer thats what I'll be hoping for.

My problem with Fellaini is that he plays the player all of the time, not the ball. And then pretends to not know what he's done. He has no pace. He cannot shoot. His passing is woeful at times. You can find evidence of this by searching for "Fellaini compilation" on YouTube.

The only thing he's good for is fouling, therefore frustrating the other team. And heading the ball across the box. He looks as surprised as anyone if it goes in the back of the goal.

I agree that a Carrick replacement is needed. He's still a great player and still very skilled, but not getting any younger. Bastian Schweinsteiger is only three years younger than Carrick and has never really been given the game time you'd expect a player of his quality to have on the pitch.

Conquering England = getting Man Utd into 6th place at Christmas??

I think he's confusing conquering with the childhood game of conkers which has been taught to him in the past few months.

Note: The image in my head of Zlatan and Pogba playing conkers together was too much for me not to post this shit comment.
