The way this Rashford boy finds space in the box makes me think how well he'd play with Martial. Pity he'll be dropped as soon as Rooney is fit though.

Remember when arsenal thought they could win the league?

Rather them than Spurs or City. Just hope Leicester can keep it up though.

Play the kids every week. Great performance from them. Didn't expect Arsenal to show such a lack of impetus, but they appeared to revert to type.

Take nothing away from our lads, cracking performance and we've been very watchable over the last couple games.

one thing that has had me wondering this week, is why he was persisting with borthwick-jackson at left back, when riley lookeed far more comfortable, and better on the ball, and quite clealy today, fosu-menseh (?) looked even better!?

But christ, rooney dont have a place for me anymore...

Fosu-Mensah fucked up bad with one of his first touches, he doesn't look better.

Came away thinking I'd rather see Rashford stay in the middle and have Martial back on the left when Rooney's fit again. He really did look fantastic. Obviously showed in midweek that he can menace defences with his pace, and be very clinical with his finishing. What he showed today was that he can aso hold up the ball, run at players, bring others into play... very promising really. Memphis had some good flashes too but wasn't always great without the ball unfortunately.

Was in the Stretford End today for the first time, a colleague has season tickets and couldn't go. Will try not to rub it in their faces too much on Monday, today was the most fun I've had watching a football match in years.

This isn't a false dawn. LVG still needs to go at the end of the season. But I'm glad he's managing to scrape back a bit of credibility before it happens.

And I do want to see Rooney come straight back into the team. Then I want to see him break Charlton's record ASAP so he can be shipped to China in the summer.

More news coming out Spain that Mourinho has signed a pre-contract agreement with us. Believe it when I see it.

The young lads give us the energy we've been sorely lacking. We had players running into the box. Young Rashford jumped on his opportunities and took both his goals well. Tim Fosu-Mensah looks an absolute physical beast though. I had heard he'd been compared to a young Rio; strong in the tackle, pacy, reads the game well etc.

It wouldn't surprise me to see a few of these lads cement their position in the team in a few years, hopefully helping us to win trophies. LVG will no doubt take the credit for that (as he did when he was at Bayern, giving Muller his first start), but Warren Joyce deserves just as much credit if that comes to pass.
