Felt extremely guilty that I was praying for an upset last night. I was genuinely disappointed when we scored the first... That's when you know your team's fucked.

 

I'm all for Mourinho to take over once this shambles of a season is done with, or even tomorrow to give us a chance of progressing further in the EL.

Anyone following what's happening at the Academy? Things seem to have gone quiet with Butt's appointment, I was hoping to read about more developments on how the club is looking to improve the youth setup in view of developments at City and the other clubs.

 

BTW, kudos to van Gaal for giving debuts to a number of youth team players in recent games.

Kudos for what? He sent Januzaj out on loan and brought in a load of players who he didn't play in correct positions, and now has to play youth because everyone else is injured.

I met a Dutch guy when I was visiting Belgium and we got chatting. He'd learned English exclusively from watching TV and his vocabulary and ability to structure sentences were better than some of my friends.
