BlinkyBear
Yawn. Less 'punk' and metal, more modern 'rock' and 'indie'. And some Pendulum would be nice.

Kelthink
Ha ha, Rude Mood on guitar. Woah: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikc0x_cnOD4 I can about 3 stars and barely surviving it. It's REALLY HARD
dan_tm
Yawn. Less 'punk' and metal, more modern 'rock' and 'indie'. While this obviously true, you can't complain with The Offspring.
Rudi von Starnberg
Richard Thompson. Oh my Jesus.
BlinkyBear
While this obviously true, you can't complain with The Offspring. Pretty sure I just did. I'm also pretty sure that what we actually need is some T'Arctics, Bowie, Interpol, The National and Girls Aloud.

I'm pretty sure apart from Bowie your music tastes are dire and terribly 'in'.
So. Angry.
What we actually need is some Alice Cooper... Like, all of Billion Dollar Babies. I'd only approve of more Bowie if it's from the master tapes. That Bowie impersonator on "Heroes" makes me want to claw my ears off.
Geo
I heartily agree with Girls Aloud, Love Machine would be INSANE.
PyramidFace
I'm pretty sure apart from Bowie your music tastes are dire and terribly 'in'. To be fair, anything would be better than the Offspring. It was fun when you're fourteen and playing Crazy Taxi, not so much now.

BlinkyBear
The kid aren't alright is an anthem. But you're 14 right? And besides, if I was going to ask for music that I'm listening to at the moment, I'd be asking for At The Drive-In, Springsteen and Animal Collective. Besides the very narrow selection of music I mentioned, my taste has little to do with what I want on Rock Band other than to provide a contrast to yet another set of DLC aimed at wanky teenagers in America. And Moosey.
Kelthink
We're getting Pearl Jam's '10' at the end of the month, so, ugh. And Offspring's fine! Yeesh.
So. Angry.
To be honest I'll be glad once Pearl Jam, Jane's Addiction and Axl Rose are out of the way. I always preferred not having any idea at all as to what was coming next as DLC. And I know no one's going to make me buy it but Chinese Democracy? Yeesh. I hope they're not going to use sales on that to determine whether it's worthwhile releasing some good Guns 'N Roses.

It's REALLY HARD I can just about do it on Hard (3 stars and barely surviving). Wouldn't even consider playing it on Expert.

Kelthink
Is Richard boring all the way through or just the bits I skipped through It does seem to get better, you just gotta listen to it all. Put it on, forget it's there, then you zone back in and realise it builds up to something a lot bigger. EDIT: Fuck it, I'm gonna get it. Proper goes off in the end in an awesome fashion. footle
Is Richard boring all the way through or just the bits I skipped through He's a stunning guitarist: even when playing random weird folk songs from the mid-1500s. Watching him play electric, acoustic or electro-acoustic live is a revelation.

And Moosey. That's a zinger. Infact I was 14, infact maybe 13 when I first heard it, so maybe that has something to do with it. It's just really good rock/pop. At the drive in are good. Acrobatic Tenement is awesome, Relationship of Command not so much. I prefer The Mars Volta and Sparta, to At the drive in as a whole.

Watching him play electric, acoustic or electro-acoustic live is a revelation. Just remember that some of his random weird folk songs from the mid-1500s are, well, fake. I need more Richard Thompson really. He's the kind of guitarist whose solos could go on forever and I'd be enraptured.
