Emmerdale

For Emmerdale fans (all two of you... still double Eastender's number of fans  j/k!)

Sunday's episode is moving to join onto Tuesday's episode, creating a permanent hour of Emmerdale which means it's up against Eastenders (source). Considering Eastenders have been comprehensively beaten in the ratings anytime Emmerdale's gone an hour up against it recently, the BBC should be worried.

Emmerdale is definitely better than before. In fact, I would say it's been better than Eastenders for years now. Quite a lot of female talent in the show too (Jo Styles is uttterly tasty!)

Lorraine Chase - banged up (her character)

Pollard - yep, still cheesingly funny! He still has the women flocking to him though, God knows why.

I've been an avid fan of Corrie and Emmerdale for years. Rarely miss an episode and have to say that in the past 5 years Emmerdale has really come into its own. So much better than Eastenders or Corrie. Nowhere near as depressing and the characters are a lot more believable.

I must admit I do watch emmerdale. The story lines are pretty decent and you do get a laugh more than some of the other soaps. One thing I've never got is why there is never any mention of the air crash at christmas time.

It does get a mention now and again. The problem with soaps is that the audiences are very organic and change drasticaly over their lifetimes. The chances of people having seen said crash is probably very low by now. I can barely remember it as is and I've been watching since way back then.
