dogsout
I jumped on Barca when they went 2-0 down. I've also got Bordeaux to win to nil, Ibrahimovic to score and Barca to win. It's not looking great at the minute but I still think they have enough about them to come back. If that lot all comes in I'm buying a Wii and Tatsunoko v Capcom. dogsout
That turned out well! Anyway, a new day and all that... The Mancs look pretty undervalued at 13-8. Obviously Milan love their Champions League games, and they're at home, and they've also really improved of late, and the Mancs have some injury problems. However, they're pretty pedestrian for the most part and I could see those slags getting something out there. Real Madrid away to Lyon is an interesting one. Real have looked at their best when playing on the counter so I think this one suits them. I think I'll lump on the double at a shade under 5/1. Lilywhite
I've gone for Pato first scorer at 13/2, am tempted by Beckham anytime at 5/1 though.
Guest
Beckham will probably only get 20minutes. His odds will be way shorter than they should be because of his history

I wouldn't bother with Beckham FGS, personally. He barely gets near the freekicks around the edge for them, thanks to Pirlo and, to a lesser extent, Ronaldinho. shock33
Got Juve and Unirea to win at 85/1 (Juve were 1-0, now 1-2) Come onnnnnnnnnn 1 down! Good luck on the other one

poppa_f
I had a good day on Cheltenham yesterday, had 4/6 winners! If anyone wants some tips for today, there's a lot of "lively outsiders" worth backing for a couple of quid ew: Jewson Novices Handicap - Tanks For That Pertemps Final Handicap Hurdle - Rocco's Hall Ryanair Chase - Albertas Run Ladbrokes World Hurdle - Karabak Byrne Group Plate - Private Be Kim Muir Challenge Cup - Ma Yahab There's some amazing free bet offers available from most of the major bookies, the stand-out being ladbrokes "bet £100 get £200 free bet". For a lower risk one, Will Hill do a "bet £20 get £60" one. With both of these you need to use a special code in the racing post. For ladbrokes it is "LWH9" which you enter during registration process. For Will Hill it is "CH60". What we've been doing at work is you form up a syndicate and try to cover most of the good horses in a smaller-field race and then split any winnings. The 2.40 looks a decent race for that, would suggest getting at least 4 people and cover ALBERTAS RUN, POQUELIN, TRANQUIL SEA and VOY POR USTEDES. Would be very unlucky if none of those four won. If you want to do it completely no-risk, then open a Betfair account and lay off any risk on the initial bet that you placed to get the free bet, eg if you were doing say the ladbrokes one, you would bet £100 on say Big Bucks in the 3.20 @ 4/6 and then do the opposite bet on betfair (bet on Big Bucks to lose for a liability of £100). dogsout
Well done. I was undone on each slip by one bet. Dzeko AGS on two, 1 poxy corner on the other. Would have won £50+ off each bet. Gutted.

Sirloin
Real Madrid, Ajax, Genk and Atletico Madrid in a accy last night. Thankfully AM didn't do their usual and strive with all their hearts to produce whichever result would destroy as per usual. If there are three teams never to bet on, its Atletico, Notts County and Leeds. Guaranteed accumulator killers the lot.
El Pibe
I used to back Exeter a lot in League 2 as the bookies underestimated us and there were some great odds, especially away. Sadly, this year, we're a bit more predictable!

Baz
Went with my heart and had a couple of quid on Rooney 1st goal, Munich 2-1 last night before I set out in the middle of the night to watch the match, and glad I did. Don't remember celebrating so hard with a bar full of Germans before. Tonights gonna be horrible so not sure I'll be betting on the Arsenal game - my head says it'll be a score draw but really it could be anything, and anyway I don't wanna be shouting for a draw. So might just stick a small amount on Arshavin 1st goalscorer & be done with it.. Anyone got any scorecast tips for the Inter game? EDIT: Ended up sticking £2 on a scorecast, Arshavin 2-2 (120.0) and Inter/Liverpool/Fulham.

Sirloin
Well after getting annoyed at accumulators after another bad afternoon, I've started doing something different. Backing 1 or more goals in games, so effectively laying 0-0 but without the higher liability. The odds are crap (about 1.10 a pop) but that's because you are massively more likely to win on it. Won on Real vs Barca already with a tenner, and now on Philadelphia vs Washington in a bit. I reckon if I can get 80 right in a row, it should get me about 10 grand

Sirloin
Well I got blown out on that attempt by Atletico Mineiro not being able to score against some 8th division no-hopers. But I started again with a tenner and hit 60 quid last night. So going to take my stake back and split the 50 into 2 and go on two games at once. Good fun though. I can see how people make so much from it.

Sirloin
Betfair. Its a bit more confusing than the traditional bookmakers sites, but I much prefer it now I'm used to it.
