Just like doing the standard olie but by pressing up then down, rather than down then up.

Actually, what happens when you do nollie shove its? i.e. 12 o clock, rotated to like 4 or 8 oclock position?

Also, you said in your first post, 'normal stance' does it work if you try it in switch then?

Up-then-down is showing up as a Fakie Ollie, non? That's just a switch nollie. Try switching stance.

No, it doesn't. Doing top to bottom is a Nollie. A Nollie 360 Flip is under expert (andvanced? I forget the terminology) in the tircks book. Basically you grind the 'hubba' then Nollie 360 flip out of it. It strats at slightly upright (about half way between 2 qand 3 if on a clock) to top then flick to bottom left.

Up-then-down is showing up as a Fakie Ollie, non? That's just a switch nollie.

Or have I got it wrong and what should be a Fakie Ollie is actually doing a normal ollie, ie. feet at the back, nose goes up first?

Nollie means you ollie off the nose. Either stance. No idea what your mate is doing wrong, sounds like it needs a reboot and a towel.

I thought Fakie was switch and off the nose, rather than just switch? It sounds to me that his mate's just reading 'Ollie' and not seeing the small 'Fakie' above it.

Aren't you trying to do a nollie 360 flip? I would guess (can't checkright now) that it's a trick that can only be done in one of the stances, and is a special one (as was expalined by moosey earlier)

A fakie ollie is a nollie in your non-standard stance. It'll count as a fakie trick as far as I know. A nollie trick would need to be in your normal stance, goofy in this case.

My original question was just that you can only do a nollie in your standard stance, which has turned out to be true.

Well according to that chart a Nollie in goofy stance is just straight down rather than up then down.

That also highlights how ludicrously similar the commands for Varial Heelflip and Laserflip are. I'm getting good at differentiating them, though.

I know i'm shit at this but i've already had a hell of a lot of enjoyment out of the game. It's just this one section where I have to perform a specific trick thats brickwalled me, I prefer it when it just says score 600 points, muuuuch easier
