It's a steaming app that sends you MP3s/ mutant Apple filetypes to your PS3 over wifi. PS3s won't play Apple's audio format, sadly.

The following types of files can be played under (Music).

* Memory Stick Audio Format(ATRAC)

* MP3(MPEG-1/2 Audio Layer 3)

* MP4(MPEG-4 AAC)

* WAVE(Linear PCM)

* WMA

iTunes uses AAC doesn't it? So it should play.

Got it enabled but it just doesn't recognise any albums ripped via iTunes. As in it thinks they don't exist. Do I need to do something in iTunes?

Well, it streams fine if you imported using MP3 but doesn't seem to if you used AAC. It will work fine if you put them on the PS3.

This isn't the fault of the PS3. AAC files don't play in WMP, which is what streams files to the PS3 (I assume). You should be importing MP3 files, not AAC!

What is it you are using for the streaming as this may be the factor thats causing the issue?

I use Tversity because media player,etc for some reason can't find my PS3.

Dunno if its better for AAC in anyway, might be worth exploring.

Or possible someone else can confirm, to save you messing about with it.
