A thread for PS3 owners Here

Hello Goaty ♥

Dear God you two, shut the fuck up.

I have!

Hey people! Be kind and be a fan of thePSN on Facebook. I wanna get it big enough for companies to start sending me stuff again. And of course it'll go back to you via competitions! (Unless I REALLY want it, obv!) - http://www.facebook.com/pages/thePSNcouk/23897675226

Done and done. Sorry I haven't done those reviews, man. You may be best off asking someone else who has more time/motiovation :)

EDIT: Yay! First fan!

Tried changing the multi-plug it's plugged into. Nowt.

Tried changing the fuse. Nowt.

Tried unplugging it, switching it on and off, holding down the button and switching it on with the pad. Nowt. The little red standby light isn't even on.

To say I am unhappy at this exact point in time is something of an understatement. I haven't even fucking done anything to it! I downloaded the EG demo on sunday and haven't touched it since!! What the fucking fuck is going fucking on!?

I'm so fucking annoyed. I have 2 360's, one's a launch one and apart from sounding like a turbine I've not had a problem with it. I've had my PS3 LESS than 2 months and it's fucked itself. On it's own. Without me overheating it, or knocking it, or anything. I know, I KNOW, I'm in the minority of PS3 owners with a faulty machine, but fuck me, that really does take the biscuit. What the fuck do I do about my Rock Band DLC? My PSN purchases? Can I keep the HDD or does it all have to go back? Will they send me a new on or refurbish this one if it is the PSU? Fucking hell.

Keep the HDD, they will send out a courier with a new one. He'll give you that, you give him the broken one minus the HDD. Even if you lose the HDD you can redownload anything you bought on the PSN as long as you use the same login details.

Calm down ya great girl's blouse. Call Sony. They'll have a new PS3 delivered by Friday. Tell them you don't want to have to redownload all your DLC and they might arrange for a virgin unit you can plug your existing HDD up to, or failing that you can just go into the download history in the Store and queue everything up- it's even got the bloody MotorStorm demo I got when I first bought my machine in May in there.

Ah right. Sorry for being an over reactionary cunt. I'd heard all sorts of horror stories about re-downloading stuff is all.

*sigh* Well I'll see what they say tomorrow.

Make no mistake, having to redownload all that content will take a fucking age with the dire Store interface, but it should be fine.

If the content is locked like Singstar it will not work on a new PS3 tho, can Sony get around this ?
