I'm going to buy a PSN game today, just for the fun of it. I've got my eye on Pixeljunk Monsters. What do you think I should get?

I really like Super Stardust HD. PixelJunk Monsters is not so hot but it depends on what type of game you fancy.

Yeah, if you haven't bought any PSN game yet, make it SSHD if you like twin-stick shooters. If you REALLY like twin-stick shooters get Everyday Shooter as well.

I've played the demo of Stardust, reminds me a bit of Galaxy Wars for some reason. Everyday Shooter appeals but moosegrinder seemed to hate it.

Is PIxeljunk Monsters really as hard as people make out? I had a quick go on that Desktop Tower Defence just then (only for a minute) and it seemed ok

When games were released on PS2 some were on CD's as well as DVD

If games on both consoles were released on a DVD9, would that cut down on load times (on the PS3 ). I realise there are other factors such as the machines are clearly configured differently of course...

Actually, they'll likely drop the price to start getting regular plebs buying them I think. And then they'll still hook up their BD player to their £800 HDTV with composite leads.

It potentially is. The major problem is that there are so many versions of it - they went to market before they were really ready, and they are still adding new pieces even now.
