A thread for PS3 owners Here

Hello Goaty ♥

I don't use the BeBox, are people with problems using that?

Could be. I do so it might be that. Will post in the official forums to see if that is the case. I have a shiny still sealed Netgear router that might have to be used. I take it that it is easy to set up a new router over BE.

Yeah it's all fairly simple and Netgears have a great GUI. If you want to try it, these are the basics:

Under Basic Settings change:

No login required

IP and DNS can be left as automatic unless you're on a static IP.

You have to set the Netgear to use the BeBox MAC (found on the underside of the BeBox)

Under ADSL Settings change:

Multiplexing Method = LLC-Based

VPI = 0

VCI = 101

Under WAN Setup change:

MTU Size to 1500

That should be all. Let me know if you need any more help.

I'll be on Warhawk tonight to give Soong and Moosey a pumping. We should go for an official server if we can find space.

You know what I love? It took, what, three months to get Everyday Shooter's PAL conversion done, and do you know what the pricxe is on the banner in the PS Store? $9.99. Three fucking months and they can't change a goddamn banner ad from $ to £. HELLO.

Could you host it somewhere, as I can't recall the pw I use for the US store and therefore can't log-in to get it. :blink:

Yeah I'm trying now... the store is weird with downloads, it has to go straight from site to PSP. I'm just trying to find out where it saves in the PSP.

Anyone know?

I wouldn't count on me showing you the ropes though, I'm pretty terrible at that game!

Hopefully Uzi and Spacehost will be free for it as well, not sure who else has it.

I'm up for Warhawk sure. Got a headset now too. Soong pop me a message on skype when you dudes are playing

Really don't get your hatred of Monsters. It's bloody lovely. And I have a pathalogical hatred of RTSs.

I'm not one for hating games. Really. It's just once in a while a game comes along which pisses me off soooooooooooo much it incurs all of my wrath. I just find the bloody game so un-fucking-fair. There's a brilliant game in there which they've ruined by making it bastard hard and made progress only possible by either luck or trial and error. It's like Rick fucking Dangerous all over again. And yes, I realise I'm shit at it, that still doesn't excuse it.

I've ranted on about this game enough. I'll leave it there.

Ok.....how do I get it on my PSP? It downloaded a file to my desktop...

That file should be the general .exe you need to start using the store. Run that if you can, then plug the PSP into your PC and then try to download Patapon again.

I just click download with the PSP plugged in and it downloads/installs straight to the PSP.

Fair doos. You're right on one thing, it does require a mindset in which you know you're not going to do well on a level first time round. But I'm a sucker for the kind of charm it has. I think I played one level over and over for about three hours trying to rainbow it and never really got angry with it, possibly because of the combination of the trance inducing, In The Night Garden style music and the dancing aborigine from the kangeroo episode of the Boosh.

EDIT: To moosegrinder

Thanks for that :unsure:

Will give it a go over the weekend when I get a spare couple of hours.
