A thread for PS3 owners Here

Hello Goaty ♥

Recommended Posts

My CoDs still not here :( . And I know full well they're sitting on a pile of my mail at the depot just drip feeding it to me because they can't be fucked carrying it all in one go. I've got about half a dozen PS1 games, Ikaruga GC, CoD and Gran Turismo Prologue coming, this could take ages. Arseholes.

I'll add some more of you in the meantime anyway, hopefully see you on with it tomorrow. With my scopeless M16 and shite perks.

So I may as well just just download it for £20. I wouldn't have voice coms though...unless USB headsets work regardless?

Yep. Any old USB or BlueTooth headset will work on PS3. Remember though that you can only play DLed Warhawk on the account that downloaded it and only when you've got a web connection to the PSN.

There are positives and negatives with both versions, the positives of the download version:

* No need for the disc

* Start straight from menu

Negatives:

* You can only play the downloaded version from the account you bought it on, so if you have other people playing the PS3, they will have to use your account and mess up your stats and rank etc...

The positives with the retail version:

* Not much more expensive

* Box & manual

* Included headset

Negatives:

* Need disc to play

* Have to install data to HDD regardless

I bought the download.

Right. Ok then. I have another nub question...how do you sync a pad to the PS3? My first pad ran out of juice so I plugged it in. I wanted to use my second pad but it just kept flickering all 4 lights. Someone's going to tell me you can't use a pad while ones charging, aren't they?

If it's never been used on your system before, plug it in first. Then un plug it and it should sync up.

I put this in ATF, but no reply - someone care to recommend me a wireless router (not Linksys) that works fine with the PS3 - my mate's Linksys decided not to work recently, and after extensive tests we worked out it's his dodgy router that's the problem. So - if you use wireless for the PS3, what router do you have?
