A thread for PS3 owners Here

Hello Goaty ♥

Recommended Posts

Cheers for the games, you two! I gotta remember to not play this late at night because I'll never be able to sleep now. All I'll be thinking of is rockets to the face and singing rat-a-tat-tat songs as I imagine myself calling in an airstrike.

I can't even imagine getting anywhere near 50 people on my list. Number of real life people I know with a PS3? Zero  That means it's just you guys getting added.

Know what you mean, my mate (who doesnt belong to this forum) was playing COD4 with myself Soong and FBOT last night but thats it as far as people who ive met! The only other bloke i know who has a PS3 hates games like COD4.

Re- Headsets. Not sure i wanna spend too much on one. Noticed that play do one for £7.49. Probably very basic but i presume that a majority work with the PS3?

its this one el cheapo bluetooth headset

Anyone got one of these?

For every person I know with a PS3 I know at least three with a 360. Number of people I know that haven't had their 360 die is 0.

I use the Jabra headset supplied with Warhawk for my phone and the PS3 and it's fine. Well apart from the fact that about 1% of PS3 users use voice comms!

There's been 2 times that ive worried I have been playing it too much.

Once when I walked away from a 4 or 5 hour session, into the kitchen when a helicopter went over the house. Thought I was about to be gunned down!

The other time was walking into my local tesco express of all places. The autmatic doors opened and made a clicking noise identical to the one when a claymores been triggered. Again my mind immediatly shot to that of caution.

I was going to try and get on last night to play some of you, but was unexpectedly dragged away.

Enjoyed the games last night. Hopefully we can get more to join in and have a regular COD night. I am utterly crap I must admit, but your mate was pretty handy, toneeb.

How do I join the clan? (I noticed Soong has the name in brackets).

You're pretty good at this game btw Soong!

Hes been on the sick for ages so hes been on it constantly!

Do you think that me and you dragged Soong and RWS1970 down to our level

We'll get better, practice makes perfect! I actually won my first 'Free for All' yesterday!

Im really enjoying COD4, i havent been impressed by a game this much for ages. My other games (Motorstorm, Fifa, Heavenly Sword and er, Raifan) are getting dusty. Ive even postponed buying Burnout Paradise because i know it wont get played.

I played the Turok demo yesterday as well. I just couldnt get into it at all. IMO, any new FPSs have got their work cut out to drag me away from COD4.

Everyday Shooter this week! No, really! And at a not unreasonable price, too. Blimey.

Sony has confirmed to Eurogamer that Riff: Everyday Shooter will be released on the European PlayStation 3 Store this Thursday.

The publisher told us that you will have to pay GBP 4.99 for the pleasure of its jangly company, compared to USD 9.99 in Americaland.

Everyday Shooter is an "album" of distinctive musical shoot-'em-ups built around the same underlying two-stick movement mechanics.

It was developed by a chap called Jonathan Mak, who drew inspiration from the likes of Kenta Cho, Kanta Matsuhisa and Tetsuya Mizuguchi according to its self-deprecating release notes.

We go over some of that and why Everyday Shooter is one of the best things on PSN in our Riff: Everyday Shooter review elsewhere on the site.

You should also pop along to the gamepage to check out some video and screenshots

Yeah but I hit a wall at license A where I just can't do any more events. Too hard for my crappy racing skillz.

You're always waiting for soongbody.

Try messing round with the different cars, and maybe do a few burning routes. You may find changing things up gets you over the hump. I briefly hit a wall post-Burnout licence, which I overcame by changing cars.

When I worked at MS I didn't know a single person who hadn't had their 360 die on them. We also had a whole lab's worth die, those to be fair they were early production models (Not retails) and were very prone to overheating. I'm on my 3rd.

I actually like the fact that not many people on PS3 use voice comms as I 1)Don't have to listen to brats and 2) Don't feel bad about not chatting to people. Having said that I wouldn't mind chatting to you lot, but I don't really have set times I can play online so it's hard to organise sessions anyway. I just king of catch you when I'm online.

Which reminds me, some guy added me to their friend's list and I accepted but I don't know who he is. I forgot the username, but it's not one I recognise from here. I've accepted, but who are you?
