Just tried 7 or 8 of the themes on the neogaf link.

You can't really see the text of the menus properly on any of the lighter themes. Seems plain colours and darker pics work best with it. I've gone bacl to the original theme the ps3 shipped with. It's the best one for reading the text with for me.

Okay tried searching for the Final Fantasy XII thread but the search function appears to be knackered so I'll ask in here instead.

What upscaling options etc should I set the PS3 too if I want to play FFXII properly. Tried it a while back and the movies were heavily boardered... Im a bit baffled at the minute by the amount of settings to choose from.

Any advice welcome...

This is technically my 3rd.

Maybe my 4th. I can't remember,

But I never intended to keep those! Bought them to sell on for a profit. This time it'll stay. My 360 is banned/fucked and the wireless PS3 with free online play with the soong, xibxang, the murry made it too tempting.

Until I get a spare core, I'll be using this as my main online machine.

I'm definately getting warhawk and call of duty 4 I think.May get burnout. Got bored of it in single player, is the multi a lot lot better?

If you can use any old bluetooth headset as I understand, I'll pick up one sometime next week.

Single player use I'm looking forward to Uncharted and Rachet.

Also one quick question and me being a bit of a lazy dick, so ignore it if it seems that way, but how do I set up a US account for US PSN stuff?

Unfortunately I very rarely get online with my PS3 except for Minna No Golf 5 and very few people play that. I did want to try Motorstorm online but my copy is NTSC so I can't play with PAL folks.

Is there region restrictions on most games with online pay?

My friend has an asian PS3, does this mean I cannot play with him?

w00t, Everybody's Golf 5 is out on the 28th March! Just ordered it from gameplay while it's £29.99, bunged that Guiness World Records Gamer's Edition thing in there for a tenner, used that £5 voucher doing the rounds and got my Quidco too.

Can't wait for it, I've been playing the PSP version loads recently. Looking forward to some online games and to try my hand at the leaderboards. My PS3 will be fit to melt come April :D

They took out all of the more Japanese character models for the US and European versions on the PS1 and PS2

.::: You can counter this by darkening the background in the options of the Theme Menu (hit Triangle).

Got an hdmi cable and "I can see clearly now" but, looking through the dreaded settings (there's millions) I came across RGB range (hdmi) full or limited. What should I set that to, and should I change any other settings?

Picked up COD4 but I haven't got a headset yet. Will probably pick one up next. They didn't have Warhwak in stock.

Is that really a big deal though? The UK cover's pretty much the same as the JAP version anyway, not that it really matters.

Now I am far from being the biggest Japanophile on this forum, but the overly cutesy appearance adds to the charm of the game. Something the previous western conversions lost with angry people and rawk muzak.
