A thread for PS3 owners Here

Hello Goaty ♥

Recommended Posts

.::: Sky Diving is deliciously camp! And it's made by LightWeight, which means they are still riding on their Bushido Blade kudos for me personally. It's a more fun game than I expected though. The music reminds me a lot of Project Rub and it puts a lot of other SIXAXIS waggle-games to shame.

Just don't expect a full blown game; a mere entertaining arcade-game will do as a correct description.

I saw you on and went to create a game for some multiplayer but I couldn't see any bloody invite option?!

.::: Haven't tried online yet. Only was on for a brief stint as I need to install a far more important game on my PC. <_<

That 360 have been able to download for the past 6 months.

Don't deny it Soong, Capcom are treating PS3 owners like shit.

EDIT: And even if it has stuff that the 360 doesn't, that stuff will get released as DLC for the 360 version.

Well, it's Lost Planet, how different do you want it to be? It offers everything the 360 version has and everything the PC version has. As far as I know. And will launch cheaper than you can currently get it for 360. I wouldn't say that is Capcom treating PS3 owners like shit.

Wasnt Lost Planet released before the PS3 was even out?

It does have a shitter framerate and textures.......

There are downsides to this largess, though, which mostly look to come in the form of a less stable framerate and lower texture quality than the Xbox 360 release. Another issue is how the PS3 controller's analog response feels compared to that of the 360 controller. Aiming is a lot trickier, as the lack of resistance on the SixAxis thumbsticks leads to too-sensitive controls. An auto-targeting option somewhat alleviates targeting troubles, but removes the ability to independently target things like explosive oil drums if they're in the vicinity of moving targets.

I got the ski game and the manual was a fucking shambles, took about ten years to load a page, even when I had a decent connection speed.

Never bothered with that to be honest. Interested to see what the ski diving one is like though.

I'm quite chuffed Crash 3 is on the store, still never completed it :P

The manual is complete arse. Doesn't tell you any of the basics - How to do stunts, how to pull your chute how to land, how to do anything. It just jumps straight in with teamplay formation making bullshit! And it's web-based so looks and loads like arse.

When you're in a COD4 clan can you find and follow other clan members easily enough? It's impossible (from what I can tell) to follow someone from your friends list into their game.

I'm level 10, I think I need level 12 for clan plan. Not long now! This game is awesome.

You need to add them to your party to definiately get you all together, but the game will try and put you in a server with other clan-members if it can.

So, Skydiving, Yay or Nay? I may pick it up.

It's not very good. But if the idea of guiding a sky diver down to a target is remotely appealing then get it. It's only £3.49. I'm glad I got it. I won't give it much time but it'll be something I'll give a bash now and again.

Ok my PS3 has turned up. Unfortunately I haven't had time to pick up an hdmi lead yet so i'm stuck with composite til later today or tomorrow (what are they thinking packing that lead, at least give us component). Anyway I want to get it online and the only way I can do it at the moment is through connection sharing. Could anyone point me in the right direction to get it setup please?

btw. It's so quiet. I can't believe how quiet it is.

Just wanted to post this on another page without the picture. The PS3 browser always throws up java related errors for me when pictures are involved.

Why the fuck are so many PS3 releases hosed like this!!! As a 360 owner as well there is almost no point to me having the PS3.

I think the only game that's come out on both formats that's not been fucked over on the PS3 is DMC4...

More powerful machine = worse graphics & framerates. yay!

Nah, most of the big titles are identical or arguably better on PS3. Burnout Paradise (obv), Assassin's Creed, COD4, etc.

It's just that more noise is made about poor ports than decent ports. Namely Skate and Madden. But it's safe to say EA won't have the same problems with the next Skate or Madden.

The thing is, the ports aren't too bad, in most cases they're just slightly inferior. It's not like the old days when the difference between PS2 and GC/Xbox ports were quite noticeable.

But. But. But the PS3 is meant ot be much more powerful so ports being not too bad isn't really good enough. Unless Sony lied about the PS3 before they launched it.
