A thread for PS3 owners Here

Hello Goaty ♥

Recommended Posts

Why the hell did I order this last week from Yesasia? I don't even speak Japanese! :(

For some reason I had it in my head that it wasn't getting released in Europe. Of course now I realise I was thinking of GT HD. I wonder if Yesasia will refund? I'll have to give it a shot.

Nice site Soong.

EDIT: Shite, Yesasia only issue credit, not refunds. BALLS!

Nice site Soong!

So is the DMC4 demo confirmed, or is this just one of the usual hopefull rumours?

It was first thing this morning. Then Sony woke up and thought that would be completely out of character and shoved it back a week in Europe.

You can still download it from America this Thursday, mind.

That's a pre-order, though. Who knows when the thing will actually come out over here.

I noticed I had £25 rotting away in my PayPal account, so I used that towards a white DS3 from YesAsia. It was dispatched pretty promptly, and by the sounds of it delivery takes about a week so I shouldn't have too long to wait.

I'm really impressed with that site Soong. When you said you'd done it in a few hours I didn't have high hopes but it looks nice and is really useful as well. Now stick some reviews on there and before you know it companies will be sending you free games and you'll be giving us the latest on Home from Sony HQ.

A new career awaits.

Update: Soong's new career as a web designer goes on hold as he breaks into the fetishist Blue Porn market.

Dunno yet, US gets Turok, not sure about UK yet.

Yeah, the site is going a big slow at the moment because I've had to move everything out of my room whilst I try to paint it.

I also need to think of the best way to display the PSN titles. I'd rather they were in tables that can be sorted/filtered but I dunno how.

Well, the entropay saga continues for me. They insisted that to activate my account I had to send them at least:

1.) Personal Identification: A clear copy of your Passport, Photographic Drivers Licence or I.D. Card (both sides).

I mailed them back and said I didn't have any of these, and asked if they took any other form of identification. I also mentioned that I know of other people that have signed up to them (all you people here :P ) and that you've got an account pretty much straight off.

They came back with the same shitty answer:

I’m afraid without one of these documents and a copy of your credit card we will not be able to re-activate your account.

Also note that we reserve the right to request documentation, if we believe it is necessary to authenticate an account.

In an odd way I feel discriminated against. I've got a foreign name - I'm British but my Dad is Greek, but I can't think of another reason that I have to 'prove' my identity other than this. How come the majority can get signed up straight away yet I HAVE to produce extra identification?

Anyway, if they don't want me to sign up, they can go fuck themselves, I'll find another way. Anyone used these?

...or know of another decent prepaid credit card?

And I noticed you can still make virtual PS2 memory cards on the 40GB version... :P

They'll be offering us all our old games to download I bet. At a price, of course. Now they've got hard drives to use up, real backwards compatibility is dead in the water :(

Not likely. The PS1 games on PSN are just repackaged PS1 ISOs. PS2 games would be the same.
