1) Create an Entropay account with your real UK address and card details. Adding funds in GBP, not USD.

2) I added £5, it cost me £5.25 in total after charges.

3) Logged into my US PSN account, went to Buy Now.

4) Selected "add funds to my wallet now".

5) Added $5 as it was the minimum amount.

6) Selected default billing details (it used the address I signed up my US account with).

7) Selected download now

Created an account. Got my activation code. Filled that in. Tried to load my card. "System error". Would it kill them to let you know if it's my fault or theirs? Also when I try to add the virtual card to my US PSN account it just tells me it's an invalid card.

We're sorry but the EntroPay system is currently undergoing essential maintenance.

Please check again in a few minutes, when the system should be fully functioning.

*Edit* Working now. Looks like it might have been system problems at the Entropay end. Pain now downloading. Stick it to the man!

Did Pain ever get it's own thread, or was it just talked about in here? I'm half tempted by it but suspect it gets old real quick. Thanks.

Even though there's only one level as such, you do get to open a slightly different layout. Also, there's a couple of other single player modes and a few multiplayer modes too.

Overall I'm really enjoying it (still). Surely you can't argue with the value as it's only $9.99.

<sigh> Finally got a mail from Entropay. I NOW have to fax or mail the following:

1.) Personal Identification: A clear copy of your Passport, Photographic Drivers Licence or I.D. Card (both sides).

2.) Payment Verification: A clear copy of both sides of the credit/debit card (covering the middle 8 digits of the card number, and the 3 digit Card Security Code (CVV/CVV2)) and a clear copy of a recent bank statement on which your name and address are clearly visible.

Anybody else had to do this? What happened to that '5 minutes and it's done'?

I really don't know if I can be arsed now.

I've only played a bit but I was impressed. Some of the levels do have crap music though. The game is like an album, with each level being a track on the album. It has a certain charm and if it's under £5 it shouldn't be ignored.

I got that, and decided I didn't want to buy things from the PS US store enough to fax (or email!!!!!) my ID and full credit card details anywhere.

Everyone raves about it here. Are they wrong about it?

EDIT:

Just watched some footage on Youtube. Worst music in a game EVER. What a fucking racket!

It's fucking awesome, and I WILL fight anyone who says otherwise. It's a twinstick shooter that's nice and individual from all the other twinstick shooters. It's great.
