Warhawk get! It's quite good innit.

Got shot to balls last nioght but managed to avoid finishing last in every game so not all bad, just need to get to grips with the aircraft controls then I'm good to go. Thanks god for the lack of voice chat, I managed to get a couple of freindly kills with missles firing into crowded ares :wub:

I got it yesterday as well. Started my first game and got straight into a Warhawk without reading the instruction manual. I just hovered about and got ripped to pieces by a missile. I played about 8? maps in total. But, I played them all on foot or in a vehicle. I did manage to end a game with a negative score after driving me and a team mate off a cliff in a tank. ;)

Set up a Lan game with just yourself in it to get to grips with the Warhawk controls. They are pretty straightforward after tinkering for five minutes.

Well I bought Warhawk. It's pretty cool, I enjoyed the few games I played but I'm a bit confused by some of the stuff. I downloaded it from PSN and there doesn't seem to be an instruction book of any sort, which is a bit shit. I have to paint the lounge this weekend so I don't think I'll get a chance to play it but I'll add some of you as soon as everything is connected up again.

It would have been good to have a recording feature like Halo.

EDIT: Never mind, I found a PDF of the manual online. You can only get it from the US site, us Brits are expected to just work it out :wub:

What settings do people have for PS2 games? Normal or full screen? And smoothing on, I assume?

I use full screen, because it looks sort of wrong on normal. Smoothing is a must, but you do not put on the game's own prog scan mode, otherwise it gets rid of it and looks worse in the end.

Just used Entropay to get Everyday, Pain and the Blast Factor expansion packs. The last one there was a blind punt- I liked the original and thoought I'd give it a go.

It's fantastic, really, really nice expansion and it's added various multiplayer games too. One thing to watch out for though- I bought the original Blast Factor from the EU store and the US expansion packs failed to recognise it so I had to buy the US version too. Still it was worth it for what it cost.

anyone know whats going on with the oblivion shivering islands expansion pack for PS3? Was supposed to come out last year?

It's out, but nowhere has it. It's sold out of most of the websites. Seen it in a couple of Games, but then it had done the next day. Going to try and track it down tomorrow!

Says my visa debit card is not set up to 'do this'. Don't think anyone who lives outside of their banks country can shop online. Well done Sony -_____-
