A thread for PS3 owners Here

Hello Goaty ♥

Recommended Posts

Just to clarify. If I get an entropay card and download something from the U.S site, I just need to select to have it download while I carry on browsing or whatever, and I can then install it on my U.K account? Or have I got it mixed up? And how do Entropay charges compare with buying PSN points off ebay for example? Thanks.

Just start it downloading, then install it when it finishes. You can sign into another account while it's downloading, and install it while in any account.

You can play it on any account as long as the owner-account is still on your PS3.

I can't get into the PSN. Why can't I get into the PSN? Here's what I've done: I've made sure media server features are turned off. I've put my PS3's IP in my router's DMZ. I've tried via wireless and ethernet. I've tried the OpenDNS servers in my DNS setup. I've taken them out again. I've reset my router. It will not sign in. At any given time, the web browser works fine. The PS3 can access the internet. But it won't sign into the PSN. It happened last night from around 9pm to 11pm. After 11, it went in. It went in half an hour ago after an hour of trying, and then signed me out halfway through a game after about ten minutes. Now it won't sign in again. So it's not consistently refusing, it's just refusing most of the time.

I've no idea what else I can try. What else can I try? Apart from the 360.

I've missed this whole entropay thing, what's the deal?

Someone mentioned Wild Arms and I got all excited!

Essentially it's a virtual Visa card you put money onto. You then get your own Visa details to input in the store and but stuff. I primarily got it for Rock Band DLC but I just bought Everyday Shooter (which makes me feel all melancholy and sad for some reason). The US PSN pisses all over the EU one :o

So it's for people who haven't got credit cards?

It's a bit more than that actually. If you have a UK credit card your address details are checked when the card is authorised, and the US Store only lets you enter a US address. Entropay doesn't check the address so you can enter any old US address you've googled and it'll still authorise fine.

Cool didn't mean that come across as rude. So all the PS3 users can now BUY stuff from their US accounts instead of just downloading demos and free content, nice.

PixelJunk Monsters Set to Launch Next Week

Q-Games follow-up to PixelJunk Racers is a tower defense PlayStation Network release known as PixelJunk Monsters. It's due to hit PlayStation 3s next week, according to President and Executive Producer Dylan Cuthbert, whose nice enough to give those unfamiliar with PixelJunk Monsters a quick primer on his team's latest. Unsurprisingly, Cuthbert has kind words for the woodland RTS, writing that its addictive nature is "going to keep you coming back again and again until your eyelids start fluttering uncontrollably." Wild eyelid fluttering? We're okay with that.

I went US download crazy last night and got Everyday Shooter, Bandicoot 2, SOTN and Pain. Pain is actually a lot of fun and I ended up staying up far too late last night throwing Mimes through panes of glass and exploding monkeys.

The 'Mime Toss' mode is probably my favourite at the moment. The game itself is good and well worth $9.99.

Echochrome arrives on the Japanese PlayStation Store in March

Last week I mentioned Echochrome was arriving on the PSP on March 19. Now I can confirm it will arrive on the PlayStation Store as a downloadable PS3 game on the same day. The price has not been announced, but if Sony is selling the PSP version for 3,990 yen ($36) it will probably fall in the $25-$30 price range. Details are also hazy if the PSP release contains the same puzzles as the PlayStation 3 version or if you can play the PS3 release on the PSP via Remote Play. That would be an awesome idea and we’ll find out soon when Echochrome arrives in Japan.

I cannot wait to download this from the EU store in 2009.

Entropay is your friend.
