1) Create an Entropay account with your real UK address and card details. Adding funds in GBP, not USD.

2) I added £5, it cost me £5.25 in total after charges.

3) Logged into my US PSN account, went to Buy Now.

4) Selected "add funds to my wallet now".

5) Added $5 as it was the minimum amount.

6) Selected default billing details (it used the address I signed up my US account with).

7) Selected download now

Nothing special at all, it asks you for your country very early in the PSN setup.

Because there's only one version of the disc. For HK machines it will run the no blood version. Not sure what other changes there would be.

I think that if you download a save from a different region you can have your blood. Not sure if that's all games or even if it's true but worth having a google for.

Don't touch your consoles or TV for a week to make sure all the water disappears. Then it might be working fine. So leave it off, and go away for a week then come back

Only if the CERO restriction on the title is enabled. AFAIK only two Sony first-party titles don't have blood in Japan, because they're modded to get lower CERO ratings there. UT3 will likely be fine, as undoubtedly will MGS4.

Well that was surprisingly easy. Got my entropay set up as well. Getting Everyday Shooter and eying up the PS1 titles. So they're not region locked then? For some reason I thought the PS1 titles were. Will they also work on the PSP if they're off the US store?

Ahh, my bad.

I was right anyway. If you delete your US account your US downloads become unusable (until you recreate the account and redownload them).
