A thread for PS3 owners Here

Hello Goaty ♥

WOWSERS, it's Thursday tomorrow? That crept up on me. Exciting. Everyday Shooter UK Store (possibly PAIN too?) and Turok demo US I reckon.

Do not bother - there are far better things you can do with a PS3, including using it to bludgeon yourself to death.

Nicked from NTSC (quoting from Neogaf)

"Pain & Everyday Shooter have (alledgedly) been confirmed for February (2008) for Euro store"

Well PSN lose then. Everyday Shooter had to come out before Rez HD. Still at least we've got erm.... there has to be something out tomorrow... anything?

Finally downloaded Everyday Shooter, thanks to entropay. If only we all found out about it sooner, we could've got it for $5 when it was on sale. Ah well, at least we don't have to bother with all the other stores now.

How does this entropay stuff work then?

How does this entropay stuff work then?

1) Create an Entropay account with your real UK address and card details. Adding funds in GBP, not USD.

2) I added £5, it cost me £5.25 in total after charges.

3) Logged into my US PSN account, went to Buy Now.

4) Selected "add funds to my wallet now".

5) Added $5 as it was the minimum amount.

6) Selected default billing details (it used the address I signed up my US account with).

7) Selected download now

I see, so you don't use an address of theirs. Cool, cheers for the info, gonna do that tonight I think :(

I got home last night to find my FIRST FLOOR flat flooded.

PS3, games, dvd's, Wii, Rockband, 42" plasma, all wet.

More news as it happens. :(

Dude, fuck. Your PS3 isn't a....60gb is it?

I have no home insurance, and stuff like this scares me.

What!? Why the hell wouldn't anyone have home insurance?!

also, hasn't everyday shooter been on US PSN for ages? Delb2k told me last night he downloaded it on his US account but installed it on his UK account, is that right?

Why yes it is. Are they less susceptible to water?

Yes, you can do that. Only if you choose background downloading though.

Yep, I've done this and it works fine. Reminds me a lot of Every Extend Extra (the good PSP version, not the awful XBLA version).

Oh shit, never thought of that! Let's hope it works tonight eh?

Make sure it's super dry before you try to power it up - if your lucky and it's survived the water and then you power it up whilst still damp then you'll probably fry it!

I'd wait another day and leave it somewhere hot and airconditioned!

If it did get wet, you'd be better off leaving it for about a week to be on the safe side.
