Play PC games through Linux? Iiinteresting. Although without access to the RSX I would imagine it's pointless?

It's just about streaming games from the PC to PS3, but the title seems to be misleading. The PC does all the grunt and moreso as it streams the visuals to linux on the ps3 apparently. So this about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Under Linux on the PS3 the RSX is locked down so all you have is the PPC front-end and 6 vector units.

Get a step down - a butch one too import 40GB machines are 110v only afaik.

You don't need any transformer with the PS3 just a standard PC/kettle lead.

The original machines had universal power supplies, so you could plug them into anything.

Not sure about the new machines though, wouldn't think they would change it.

The funny thing is people are making all the Halo maps for it. Would be ironic if it does realy well cos there's a huge community that revolves around all the Halo maps.

With regards to XMB in-game stuff I posted a couple of pages ago. Someone on gaf messed about with the pictures and it seems that you can see someone living room in the reflection...

It wouldn't be hard to just mock-up the image in Photoshop and then display it on PS3 like you would any photo. So it's impossible to tell.

.::: Yes, put PSP in linked USB Mode with the PS3 and navigate to the save data management tool on PS3 XMB. There you can copy to and from any Memory Card, virtual, physical or internal. Might require some faffing about with Triangle.
