What dongle? You just pair it with the ps3

The main reason I ordered one is because it has a decent review and it also isn't massive so I can just keep it folded up on the sidetable next to the remotes when I'm not using it rather than having a massive keyboard sitting around the living room.

Wow, I didn't know it worked so easily, I thought I would have to attach receivers and all that to the PS3. The vid showing the keyboard makes it look pretty good too. Some FPS games support mouse+keyboard controls too don't they? I'm sure I heard it somewhere.

You definitely can in Unreal Tournament 3.

Edit: I just got the weekly lidl email and they have a bed tray in for 3 quid. I'm considering going down and grabbing one just so I'll have a flat surface that I can set the keyboard and a mouse onto.

One of the things that I can easily say that Sony got completely right with the ps3 is having it installed with bluetooth. It's entirely too handy.

Got an email tonight from someone who has sent in dozens of tips in the last couple of months. I usually blow them off as meh since some of them seem so far fetched like the XBox 360 with HD-DVD (lol, dead in the womb). Anyway, the source sent me the above picture with information that puts the above interface in our hands before January is over.

What do you think? Believable or should we stick to serving PS3 Gamercards than following crazy rumors? ;)

Getting a white 40GB Ps3 I just need to know what I can/ can't do.

I know I can't played Ps2, Blu Rays but what else?

I can make a UK account and play games online with friends with a PAL Ps3 right?

Assuming its a white JP One.

Aren't the US and Japan the same Blu-ray region? So at worst its importing the US(and likely cheaper) Blu-rays?

EDIT:

Ahh an HK one.... dunno what region they are.

Get a step down - a butch one too import 40GB machines are 110v only afaik.

Just like I don't! Unless I need a poo before I start. I've learned my lesson now, though.

I've had all sorts of issues with my Motorola 500 headset- though TBH I'm lucky to get it working with my phone half the time anyway. I just use my old SOCOM USB headset.

Yeah, I'm not sold on Bluetooth chat, though isn't that what the 360 uses? It just seems flaky on the PS3. I've been tempted to just get a USB headset, as long as I can find one with a nice long lead, but hopefully if the Jabra doesn't behave I can just use my PS Eye and a pair of headphones.

GT5 Prologue is miles ahead of GT HD!

Really? Well that's good news then. I started playing GT HD at the weekend and at first was a little thrown by the fact I couldn't use the triggers to accelerate/break and the fact you can only have a slow car at first, but after realising I get new cars for beating the times I started to unlock faster cars and really enjoying it. If GT Prologue is more of the same then I'll be happy.

Go in the options and you can put accelerate/brake on the triggers.

My Linksys router crashed all the time with my PS3 too. Here's how you can fix it quickly: turn media sharing off in the PS3. (Tools bar, network settings.) If that does stabilise everything, I can tell you the 'proper' way to fix it in the router.

Just got home and tried this. It seems to work! Cheers.
