DVDs, no. Region-locked blu-rays, no. Region free foreign blu-rays, sure! They just play. http://bluray.liesinc.net/ I do wish they'd region-free it entirely though.

Dvd's, well you could just copy them directly to a dual layer dvd 9 or shrink them to a dvd 5. (removing region protection)

what's the best option in the UK for a backwards compatible PS3, been looking around and all i can see is the 40 gig option. Also is there any option for VGA cables, my 360 runs through the monitor and i'd like to do the same with the PS3.

Some further Medialink testing for PS3 owning Mac-users...

- version 1.2 is just out

- with support for AAC woohoo (however no iTunes Plus tracks yet)

Now if only Sony would allow copying of multiple folders/files INTO a selected PLAYLIST instead of dumb copying !
