Occasionally you find out before hand by an IGN or Playstation Blog report but otherwise like you say we're kept in the dark until the actual date.

I've found however there's no point to speculation as you'll only get let down when you're led to believing something will arrive when it doesn't. Just take it as it comes.

What time does new content appear on the store on Thursdays? I've totally convinced myself Everyday Shooter is coming tomorrow now. Also, do they always keep people in the dark? No-one ever seems to know what's coming beforehand.

Uk store around 6pm. US store around 10pm.

Is the EU version any different than the US one?

Other that a slightly different name (Riff: Everyday Shooter in EU), I think they're identical.

It was one of my 2007 highlights. The underlying game doesn't quite hold up to other dual stick shooters, but the music, design, unlockable extras and presentation of it means it's a million times more charming. SotN aside, it's the best thing on PSN.

Also, do they always keep people in the dark? No-one ever seems to know what's coming beforehand.

This is one of the unexpected side effects of digital distribution. The failure (or actual reasoning, who knows?) of Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo to give release dates more than a week or so in advance.

Well I've heard mixed reports! Some people say it's amazing, the majority say it's shit. I don't really see the point in ANOTHER bowling game if you have Wii Sports already though so I'm not interested in it.

That sky diving game looks like it could be fun though. If it's like a new Pilot-Wings.

Yeah, if. Wonder if the formation diving stuff will be multiplayer? And online?

I like this kind of stuff on the psn, did anyone try the skiing game?
