AI: Atificial Intelligence - Chat with...Bethesda's Todd Howard (Oblivion).

I hope they asked him if 'Radient' A.I was intentionally hilarious.

NPC 1: 'Good morrow! How art thee?'

3 second pause

NPC 2: 'There are some fine deals at Hagars smithery!'

2 second pause while both characters attempt to walk somewhere but end up just jiggling on the spot...

NPC 1: 'Anne Warner has been acting very strangley recently...'

At this point I whip out my sword and hack up NPC 1 for being game breakingly thick.

NPC 1: 'Arraagh'

NPC 2: 'Hello Wanderer, there are some fine deals at....'

I couldn't believe how much they hyped that shit up and it turned out to be the dumbest shit fest in all of the realm.

Sorry, but yes, it does appear to be a good christmas for gaming! I'm going to get me some Lumines 2, though it does look like my PC will go untouched this holiday season, there is such a dearth of strategy/shit MMOs at the moment which aren't my cup of tea. Pathologic got a good score though and I'm intrigued by its weird 'Silent Hill FPS but created by russians' premise, I'd be really interested to know what they said about it.

Is the Bible article as bad as the RPG Bible article was? Terrible writing.

Anyway, great news for Gow, interesting scores for Rainbow Six (hasn't everybody other than Edge liked it?), another poor score for Red Steel. What is wrong with PSU?

I didn't know Virtua Tennis 3 will be coming out on PSP - might have to get VT World Tour ready for ebay. Do you think they'll manage to get the game not to pause after every point this time?

Anyway, nice to see a Wii Play review that isn't solely based on the fact that it comes with a remote for an extra £5, unlike the Official Nintendo Magazine one. It does look a tad crud, sadly.

What was their issue with Wii Play?

They basically said that whilst it was a good demonstration of the sort of things the wii could do, the games really weren't going to keep your attention for long (especially in single player mode).

They're grumpy gits and didn't factor in that it's free with the remote.

Yes they did!

"Whilst it can't be forgotten that wii Sports will come bundled with the console in this territory, it'd be unfair not to rate it by the same standards as we would other titles, especially considering the game will likely break loose at some point and be available to buy on its own"

Gears Of War (360) - 10 - a brilliant game. a 9 or a 10.

Wii Sports (Wii) - 6 - a limited showcase for the wii controller

Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) - 9 - great but same old zelda with new controls

Call Of Duty 3 (360) - 8 - brilliant game

Mario Kart Double Dash (GC) - 5 - bad AI and weird cheating boring single player experience
