Whats the game you have beaten the most?

I have probably beaten snes mario kart several hundred times over in 150cc mode, and with the megadrive version of golden axe beat that at least a good twenty times., however now becuause probably can afford more games have never really replayed many games more than once over. The only game I replay in a way is Football Manager.

Do you chaps replay the same game over and over for fun knowing everything about it?

ghosts n' goblins and commando on the C64, both by elite systems.

They were both really really easy (in gngs case because of an exploitable boss bug) but still incredibly satisfying to play, so much so that their defeat was a daily occurence for a few months.

I had both, do you remember in commando where you could just walk backwards at the beginning of the game and just grenade and shoot everyone coming down for mega high scores?

I did not know the bug in gng but i never finished it till the megadrive version as it was bloody hard on the c64

Definitely Rez, mainly because it only takes an hour and a half to play through which makes it perfect between-coffee-and-bedtime fodder.

Must have completed Direct Assault mode at least 20 times.

Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox. I've beaten it 3 times thus far, which is a lot for me as I very rarely replay a game.

The game flows so good, there isn't any level I dread to play.

Sonic 2, definitely. It's extremely fun to play, incredibly easy to obtain for pretty much any format and only takes about half an hour to finish.

Sure, and i still do occasionally. It's my favourite series.

I think the pre-rendered backgrounds have helped the games age really well too, they still look good.

Either Monkey Island 1 or 2. I play it whenever i forget how to solve a puzzle, so there's still some element of gameplay, despite knowing the srory

Oh aye, I've played through Polarium a fair few times. I always reset it when I finish all 100 puzzles, and when I play through it again I've forgotton how to do all of the difficult ones

cant remember the commando thing (its the music that still sticks for me), there was in invulnarable spot on Gn'G (just left of the arch on the first boss, in the same place but sans the arch on the following levels).

Wasnt it ghouls and ghosts on the megadrive (GnG2), never could beat that thing (couldnt kill the stupid bloody giant fly) so you've got one up on me there.

MGS- a zillion times. Helps that I can comfortably clear it between Sunday breakfast and the Antiques Roadshow.

Hardly ever do this really, I suppose the only titles I've done it with would be the Fallout and Baldur's Gate series, plus Deus Ex, very rare for me not to feel I've seen enough of a game after first completion.

Time Crisis 2 too many times to count, although Sonic 2 probably beats it as I used to play it loads at my gran's when I visited. Plus it was great.

Commando and The Sacred Armour of Antiriad on the C64 are both incredibly easy.

However if I were to be honest Solitaire and Shanghai (Mahjong Solitaire) always get a work out.
