Buying the same game twice

I've owned 3 copies of Halo 2, the first disc snapped, the second one replaced it, and the third one came with an XBL sub for the amazing price of £5.99, I also got Halo with my Xbox (as part of a bundle), after buying it on PC.

I also owned OoT twice if you count the bonus disc that came with the Wind Waker.

Crazy Taxi 1 for the dreamcast, then i sold the dreamcast and got crazy taxi 3 for the xbox, which is basiclly just a slightly better remake with a few extra levels

Ocrina of time on the n64, with the wind waker, with the wind waker again and with the bonus collection thingy. I dont really like it though tbh

sonic adventure and chu chu rocket, both came with both my dreamcasts

Wind waker and smash bros ive had twice as well as i sold my cube and then rebought one, with both the above games.

I have either five or six copies of Fallout 2. I have the original, large boxed copy, the US double-disc copy, the Sold Out range one, the Fallout Collection, one from White Label, erm, there might be another.

It's a hobby of mine. I just keep buying copies and one day Black Isle will have enough money to reform and make RPGs and then we'll have a party and eat jelly together.

I think you win for the number of copies of the same game! six blimey!

I got Shadowman on the PS1, but never got far with it due to the stodgy framerate and seven shades of brown graphics (at least in the first area).

However I must've seen its potential because I bought it again for the DC, graphically much smoother and clearer and I really liked it second time round and played nothing else for ages (until that Jack the Ripper boss :( ).

same here come to think of it :)

actually i think i owned it 3 times cause i had it with dreamcast 1, then it broke and i got it on the ps1, but the graphics (and as you said, framerate) were so shit i didnt even bother with it, then i rebought it on dreamcast 2

I've also had Tony Hawks 3 and 4 on both gamecube and xbox

oh yeah and ive also had links awakening twice as i thought the first one was broken :(

also I lost mario and yoshi (GB) when the car.."drowned" (dont ask) then I traded another game for it, which i lost in a theme park in france (w/ game boy) so then i traded yet another game for it :o

its a surprisingly additive game actually.. :(

I think Alien Trilogy i sold and rebought.. which was actually a really good fps in its day
