You need something off the Hulk Hogan album. I recommend the classic Hulkster In Heaven:

Brilliant. I had no idea the Hulkster released an album! I've just bought it from eBay for $2.80 - my brother's gonna laugh himself stupid when he gets this for his birthday :(

Yes. Wild Honey Pie will send anyone insane, whereas I Am The Walrus will bring the CD up to 'bad' standards rather than the 'atrocious' level you're plumbing for.

Not that I think it's one of their very best, far from it, but in no way is it even an average song, nevermind a terrible one.

For the truly cancerous, slap 'The Power' cover by H-Blockx on.

Oh man. I got fooking battered. Me and my mate had a 'worst CD ever face off'. Much to the annoyance of the 3 in the back of the car on the way to a Skindred gig at Rock City.

His CD was fairly bad. Irene Cara, a Chicago medley and some Nickelback dance remixes. I reckoned I had him beat though, until his mystery 17th track of a 16 track CD.

The support band for the gig were OPM. I laughed so much I pissed myself when their banner dropped down behind the stage.

Sorry for resurrecting this but I'm doing a similar thing and need some help..

Tracks so far include :-

Peter Andre - Mysterious Girl

Inner Circle - Sweat (A La La La La Long)

Europe - The final countdown

Billy Ray Cyrus - Achy Breaky Heart

2 Unlimited - No limit

Scatman John - Scatman Song

Chaka Demus & Pliers - Tease Me

Cliff Richard - Wired for sound

I need more suggestions along these lines please - They must be songs that people will know, and will instantly recognise as being quite poor so no obscure stuff please.

just download any of the 200+ merzbow albums out there... unmitigated shite. and if you're wondering how he's managed to put out over 200 albums, give it a search on youtube and all will become clear within seconds.

eg:

Merzbow maybe not to your taste - but clearly not shite
