Well you can't really go anywhere without hearing this at the moment. I'm looovin' it.

It's put me back in a dirty beats mood so can you recommend similar stuff like this?

If you have no clue what I'm talking about, you can hear it here - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=91629706

I have it on my headphones, repeating. Woo!

When I got out the club this morning I pulled out my earphones and these people were like "you bastard!". A girl made me go with them down on the beach and we just lay there with an ear each listening to that.

Then when I went to the station I was sat listening to it on repeat and missed the train twice cos I was just on another planet.

I want similar stuff... ?

I think that was the drugs.

Like the song though.

Oh and what would you call the genre of all this stuff, electro/funky house? Or even tecno, I get confused.

I'm a big fan of the track [and the D Ramirez remix of Yeah Yeah], but they're both being horribly overplayed these days... especially the wanky radio edits with cheesy vocals slapped on top. Shame.

I dunno what genre it's classed as. I think dirty house is descriptive enough.

Dirty and electro-ey are the words that spring to mind.

You should have a look around for some Vitalic and Trentemoller - they might be right up your street:

Vitalic - My Friend Dario

Vitalic - LA Rock 01

Moby - Go [Trentemoller remix]

Royksopp - What Else Is There? [Trentemoller remix]

Felix da Housecat - Vicious Game

Vitalic - You Prefer Cocaine [Felix da Housecat remix]

[edit] oops, it's D Ramirez, not DJ...

Yeah I got OK Cowboy which is pretty decent. Not heard of Trentemoller though, will have a look. Cheers!

Tell you what else is pretty awesome, DJ Fresh - X Project. It's more dnb than this kinda dirt though, but is still weet.

The version with the vocals has actually grown on me quite a bit. What I've done is merged the Ramirez mix, adding the vocal radio edit (which is only 2:30min) to the end of it. So now I have a 10minute track which just ends in a bit of the vocals. It's pretty awesome, I must say.

Whatever. My ears don't lie. It's always beats, build, louder beats, vocals, beats, fadeout, fadeback, vocals, beats, louder beats, end.

YAWN.

I'm not saying I don't like some ''dance'' music, I do. But, good Lord, most of it is cut and paste rubbish.
