Only just realised this starts again on Friday. :facepalm:

Episode outline from the CWTV wesbite:

Clark (Tom Welling) tells Jor-El he's ready to start his training, but Jor-El sends him back to Metropolis to cut ties with Lois before he can begin. Chloe (Allison Mack) is shocked when Lois (Erica Durance) suddenly reappears after having been missing for weeks, but Lois has no recollection of vanishing into thin air with the Legion ring. While investigating a monorail crash, Lois meets John Corben (guest star Brian Austin Green), a new reporter at The Daily Planet, with a negative attitude toward the Red-Blue Blur. Chloe begs Clark to use the Legion ring to go back in time to save Jimmy, but he refuses, driving a wedge into their friendship. Meanwhile, Oliver (Justin Hartley) continues down a dark road, and Zod (Callum Blue) arrives at the Luthor mansion. Kevin Fair directed the episode written by Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders.

Zod is fucking rubbish, some Londoner who seems to have problems speaking properly, it's like he's struggling to get the words out and just needs to dribble. Clark has gotten dark Peter Parker syndrome, he's all dark and brooding now his fringe is brushed down past his forehead and he's wearing black, pretty boring and not a good start, the story arc for the series looks like it's going to be utter shite as well although it looks like he's finally going to fly.

I like how the army were supposed to be from another planet, but the costume department thought "fuck it" and just rented out some standard US military attire. :(

However, I didn't the episode as much as evereyone else, until I started to think about it.

Many seasons ago wasn't Zod trapped in that 2D prison thing when someone was trying to free him? Now all of a sudden he was stuck in Kandora inside that stone. Have they just rebooted the character?

Last nights was dreadful. Its like they had a good idea and didn't know what to do with it.

Also the

infection starts in the mansion right? Yet the mansion is over in Smallville so did that plane (which magically managed to spray the entirety of Metropolis) stop by?

It's not the best but not the worst. It's been going for nine years, it cannot be one of the worst.

The idea that idiots being stupid enough to watch something awful for 9 years makes it any less awful is insane. How old is Eastenders? Because it's still fucking terrible.
