Smallville

They need to ditch Tom Welling. I dont think there's ever been an actor who hasn't changed so much over the course of 9 years as him, his acting is rubbish.

He's rubbish, yes; even worse, he's ineffectual. He's not a super man. He's not a super anything. He has no power in his voice, or presence or anything to even indicate he's the star of the show, let alone the most powerful man in the galaxy.

Tom Welling's acting is one of the few reasons I still watch Smallville.

You enjoy laughing?

He's awful - definatly from the Joey Tribianni school of acting.

It's all about Chloe :)

(And dear god Lana better not come back)

His acting is amazing. I genuinely love the epic poses he strikes after every sentence. Must be such a pleasure directing him because you always know what you're going to get. Solid performance every time.

Anyway, it's blatantly all about Lois.

She ain't coming back.

Id have said the same at the beginning of S8 yet we were introduced to proper handbreak TV when she reappeared like a cockroach. To make things worse she is now bulletproof and invincible. We may never truly be rid.

Yeah but Clark will die if he goes near her. Apparently that episode was Kristen Kreuk's final episode of Smallville.

Yeah Tom Welling is alright, lets face it Superman basiclly is a goody two shoes, can't do too much with him in terms of development

Yeah, if it got shit writers.

I genuinely can't understand why people are still watching this after a decade of nothing happening.

Meet Metallo

w9yxyo.jpg

Brian Austin Green is coming back to TV as a different kind of cyborg. In a two-episode arc on Smallville (beginning with the September 25 season premiere), Green plays John Corben, a new Daily Planet reporter who becomes the comic-book villain Metallo. In the aftermath of an accident, Corben is mysteriously outfitted with a heart made of kryptonite. Executive producer Kelly Souders won’t reveal the identity of his Frankenstein-esque savoir, but says Corben is turned into “a rough version of Metallo, a first attempt at the technology, and eventually he’ll get sleeker.” So might we see him again? “Well of course—it’s Smallville,” she says with a laugh. “We’re actually throwing some ideas around right now in the hopes that we might be able to bring him back for another episode.”

Julian Sands cast as

young Jor-El

Turns out that kneeling-obsessed kook Zod travels to Earth with some iconic cargo.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Smallville has cast Julian Sands (24, Warlock, a million other things) to play a

young Jor-El.

He’ll make his debut in the November episode

“Kandor” when it’s revealed that he arrived with Zod and the other Kandorians.

As of now, Sands is locked in for one episode.

:(;)

Why?!?! What purpose does this serve? And how can he be young when we've been hearing Terence fucking Stamp for god knows how many seasons. Like so many things in Smallville it makes no sense whatsoever. ;)

They may as well have introduced fucking Robin.

They tried to get Bruce Wayne involved in the show at some point but I think they couldn't get the rights sorted. Thankfully.

But there was an episode with a guy in a black leather jacket with yellow piping who was all mysterious and they did allude to this character being very much like him (bruce/batman) . I think... its bee na while and the show is starting to annoy me now.....
