Lorfarius
Great episode, can't wait for the showdown, hope it's not a cliff hanger with Clark sorting the problem within 5 mins of the next series then everyone acts like nothing happened...........again. But then that wouldn't be Smallville
Captain Novaforce
Good, getting better. theyve finally realised the benefit of giving the bad guy a personality
Gambit
The last episode of the season is called Doomsday, so I'm expecting a massive fight. But this is Smallville so I very much doubt that. I'm starting to think though that after the line "you were destined to destroy each other" that they're going for the Death of Superman story with the resurrection stuff being season 9. But as I've already said this is Smallville so disappointment is bound to happen.

There will be a cliffhanger with a massive fight just about to start, which comes to nothing at the start of the next season.
Vin
And he STILL won't be able to fly, I'd wager. That'll be right at the end of next season, obviously.
IcEBuRN
The plots are so annoying. But I'll never stop watching the bloody thing There had better be a friggin fight between those two jerk offs. Mirroring the likes of Superman - Doomsday.

Phelan
Why do they have so many breaks in the US? Do they hate their audience that much?
Lorfarius
Why do they have so many breaks in the US? Do they hate their audience that much? I think a lot of is is tied in with sport seasons, holidays etc.
Phelan
I think a lot of is is tied in with sport seasons, holidays etc. Which is one of the reasons TV companies are dying - they have been screwing their audiences over for years and we are all getting sick of it. Its like this every year in the US though. I think people expect it over there.
Vin
It's bordering on pantomime, now. Just get on with the inevitable Doomsday / Supes death match, for crying out loud.
CactuarBill
It's bordering on pantomime, now.Just get on with the inevitable Doomsday / Supes death match, for crying out loud. It will, probably during the season finale.
dr_lha
I think a lot of is is tied in with sport seasons, holidays etc. Nope, at least not on "The CW" which doesn't have any sports on. They just like to run shows from September to May, which is about 34 weeks, but they only make 22 episodes, hence the requirement for breaks. The dates are mostly tied to the "sweeps" periods where they measure audience levels to set the charges for adverts. Typically the only holiday related break is December for the run up for Xmas. For some reason, Xmas isn't a big TV day here, all the Xmas specials are shown later November, and then in December, nothing is on. Xmas day itself is kind of like watching daytime TV on a Tuesday. Campfire_Burning
I thought the new episode was rubbish, but the phone conversation at the end was the best scene in Smallville for ages. Also, the "Can you read my mind?" line made me giggle like a schoolgirl.
Lorfarius
That must have been one of the worst episodes I've seen easily on par with Super Lana. However it was also the best one ever shot with Jimmy having seven shades of crap beaten out of him. Plus if Clark can recognise Lois behind a mask then there's no way he can get away with being Superman. The again...Lois is stunning.
Gambit
New episode out. They've gone and turned Chloe into the new Lana. I hope Doomsday breaks her neck.
Matt Defis
The episode was pretty good though i thought, just 2 more episodes to go for either the greatest episode of Smallville ever or the biggest disappointment ever. Looks like next week is Justice league vs legion of villans.
the_debaser
That episode was amazing until Chloe turned up at the fortress, bitch! Can't wait till the finale, should be unbelievable.
Hexx
Maybe it's that I love Alison Mack/Chloe (despite the shit storyline's/writing he often gets), but I quiet like that.
Lorfarius
Not bad much better than last weeks. Though judging the blurb for the next episode they seem to have spoiled it: Injustice Chloe pleads with Clark to end Davis' life since he can no longer control the beast within him. Tess and her team of meteor freaks help Clark track down Davis. Making the latest ep a bit pointless.
Vin
Looks like Clark's about to grow some bollocks and finally pull his weight. Where the fuck is Lois throughout all this? Goddamn, I hate all these convenient absences. It's just lazy writing.
JohnC
What was that at the end?
the_debaser
God only knows. I thought Krypton was destroyed so how can Tess be the saviour of Kandor? Not quite sure where the writers of Smallville are going with this story arc.
