The last episode of the season is called Doomsday, so I'm expecting a massive fight. But this is Smallville so I very much doubt that. I'm starting to think though that after the line

"you were destined to destroy each other" that they're going for the Death of Superman story with the resurrection stuff being season 9.

But as I've already said this is Smallville so disappointment is bound to happen.

Nope, at least not on "The CW" which doesn't have any sports on. They just like to run shows from September to May, which is about 34 weeks, but they only make 22 episodes, hence the requirement for breaks. The dates are mostly tied to the "sweeps" periods where they measure audience levels to set the charges for adverts.

Typically the only holiday related break is December for the run up for Xmas. For some reason, Xmas isn't a big TV day here, all the Xmas specials are shown later November, and then in December, nothing is on. Xmas day itself is kind of like watching daytime TV on a Tuesday.

I thought the new episode was rubbish, but the phone conversation at the end was the best scene in Smallville for ages.

Also, the "Can you read my mind?" line made me giggle like a schoolgirl.

That must have been one of the worst episodes I've seen easily on par with Super Lana. However it was also the best one ever shot with Jimmy having seven shades of crap beaten out of him. Plus if Clark can recognise Lois behind a mask then there's no way he can get away with being Superman. The again...Lois is stunning.

The episode was pretty good though i thought, just 2 more episodes to go for either the greatest episode of Smallville ever or the biggest disappointment ever.
