Can someone help me here?

I was watching this on E4, then they just stopped showing it, then started back at the start of the season again?

How come you guys are still watching it?

The wonder of torrents. Its shown on US TV then a day later its available for pirate downloads.

I go to TV.com to get the latest TV listings and go from there.

Hopefully Lana is really gone for good. I can't stand her. They stretched her employment way too long.

She's the reason I skipped the last 2 seasons.

OK, now onto this season. The first half has actually been really really good. We all know the man, we know the myth. It's been enjoyable being teased about destiny and Kal-El's eventual path of becoming Superman...

Clark at the Planet, out on the streets saving people. Sure he's wasn't in blue tights, but sure it was a tease. The Legion episode where Lightning Lad throws in those little Superman in-jokes. "In the future, we all know you as Sup....!, and gets cut short. Or the episode where Jimmy almost reveals Clark's identity and the little boy at the end dressing up as "red and blue bird". Definitely rewatchable episodes.

Now, by the end of this season, Clark better learn to fly or else I'm switching off again. But I'll settle if he'll leap off tall buildings.

I agree. Everything up to the Legion was really pretty good. Since then it's been an abomination unto the lord

Why does veryone have such a problem with Lana. Yeah, she's not great. But she's amazingly fit!

We've got Lois now, don't need Lana. Lana's like the ex that refuses to go away. Sure she was fun the first time around, but now she's just annoying. Lois is like the new; she makes you LOL and is 10 times fitter. And isn't cold in bed.

Its the treacle voice and the bad acting that cause problems. Oh and t he fact that the writers seem unable to write any sort of decent story when she's around. Let se we've had Lana the Witch, Lana the Clone, Lana the Superhero whats next?

Lana is hotter than Louis by far. At least physically. But as a women Loo loo is way nicer I agree. I wonder what they're like in real life.

Anyway. When the fuck is doomsday coming back? He's not going to come back till the end of the series is he. Where he then proceeds to clobber clark and that's it for another year. :)

EDIT: I just checked the episode guides. We have to wait a month now! Gay!

Y'see that's the problem with having Lana in the show.

Everything up to Legion was awesome. Green Arrow, Doomsday, Jimmy, Lois, Clark at the Planet. Then Bam! Lana comes back and everything they built up early on had to be put on hold while they write Lana out properly. The last 5 shows were about Clark and Lana.

Good riddance.

Actually, if they take a new direction with the ninth series, and actually have him as a semi superman, with an actual relationship with Louis it won't be so bad. But how supermanny can you go without the costume...

Well this season has been great besides the Lana arc. If they can keep the potential going into a ninth season then I'll be happy. Though I think it's time to wrap it up now.

I feel they could drop the Smallville title and base it all in Metropolis. Have a proper Superman series as the current season has shown they are capable of some decent stories so might be interesting.

It's back....

Linda Lake, what is her "villian name The Puddle?!. It's a shame that DC does n't have an equivalent of Uatu - The Watcher; as this would have been suitable opening (ie What If......)for this episode. We need more Geoff Johns written episodes and fast!!!
